The views of the uncrowded and peaceful lake and deck are outstanding. Access to the kayaks and boating is wonderful also, but algae prevents swimming directly from the dock.As for the bad, the house was cleaned - very superficially. “The house was lovely and perfect for our needs. Centrally located and a short drive to downtown. We enjoyed the functional spaces, kitchen appliances and utensils, comfortable bedrooms, and the central air conditioning on the warm days. The host was very responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend this property. ”

“The location could not have been more perfect. We were centrally positioned to enjoy all that is FLX. Our Host Mark gave us a through understanding of all the interesting and delicious wine and port he is creating on the Rock Stream property. We were able to relax, wander the country road and vineyards right out our front door. Thank's for the memories!”

“Very remote, quiet location. Off of a dirt road so car got dirty. We enjoyed our stay here very much. Saw deer and other animals in the back yard. We enjoyed the plastic axe throwing game and the cornhole game. Nice interior as well with almost everything you need for a nice stay. Only negative thing to say is the water from the one bathroom sink had a sulfur smell, but the rest of the water seemed fine. Recommended and close to Watkins Glen and many other scenic locations.”

“Stayed 2 nights with my small children and husband. The cottage was clean and in good working order. Air conditioning worked great. Good location on the main road with lots of wineries nearby. The 2 for 1 tasting card for Toast was fantastic and much appreciated!”

“We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was perfect for our group, which included adults, children and dogs. It was peaceful and near shopping, eating and fun activities to keep everyone happy. I did want to dig in and do some weeding(I am an avid gardener ) but decided instead to embrace the weeds, as they are just different kinds of flowers! ”
