“You had to drive quite a bit aways to reach places but it's a rural area. Very beautiful, neighborhood is very friendly to everyone. Very helpful with directions and questions. It's quiet and peaceful. If you need tranquility this is the place. ”

“We have been fortunate to stay at Ruftop Ridge for the last 5 years. The house has all the creature comforts of home with benefits. Everything is top notch. Location is perfect for touring waterfalls, state parks, shopping in the towns around the lakes, experiencing wine tasting on all the lakes, wineries, breweries, and restaurants are minutes away. If you are into hiking, you can enjoy beautiful trails and waterfalls. There are waterfalls close by where hiking to see them is not necessary....

“We had 3 generations and 11 individuals. The house was everything we could have hoped for! There was plenty of space to keep siblings and cousins room to breathe. The views are amazing and we had a great time boating and fishing. Everything was clean and communication with the host was terrific! We aren't drinkers, but the Tiki bar was so neat. Our musician loved the piano too! All around an amazing week!”

“We had an amazing time! The host was very communicative and helpful. The house was gorgeous inside and out. It was our first time at the finger lakes and we loved it. The area is amazing, we visited Watkins Glen and sampled a dozen wineries. All incredible. We will definitely be back. This house was absolutely perfect. ”

“Bluebird Cabin was a real treat! The abundant wildlife on the 5 acre site was awesome! We woke up every morning to views of deer, bluebirds, hawks , owls! The cleanliness was superb! We were especially surprised with the WiFi and the wide variety of cable options at such a “remote “ location.”

“This was a wonderful little cottage for my husband, our two small dogs, and me. Although it’s on a smaller lake, it was still conveniently located for day trips throughout the Finger Lakes. Our host was very responsive and helpful with a few small quirks we encountered during our stay. The cottage has more of a traditional cabin feel rather than a modern rental, and we absolutely loved that cozy charm!”

“House was great. Very quiet area, couple of neighbors but not close enough to matter.We were greeted by a family of deer, who hung around most of the time we were there.Enjoyed sitting on the back porch having family time.”

“Flies,flies and more flies. The kitchen was inundated with flies, spent the first hour trying to kill them just gross. “Spices” in the cabinets were dusty and well beyond expiration. So glad I had the forethought to bring my griddle, pots and pans were abysmal. The bedroom I shared with my husband, had NO mattress cover and the mattress was stained. WiFi did not work well either ”

“SunRae Hideaway was perfect! Everyday we enjoyed swimming, kayaking, meals on the deck and a beautiful sunset. The house was immaculate, spacious, and had evening we needed. BethRae was wonderful host - quick to answer questions and super helpful. We can't wait to come back again next year!”

“We had the best time! The home was gorgeous, super clean, and very well maintained. We got to enjoy the water, the views, and movies at night time snuggled on one of 3 couches! The beds were comfortable too. Everything seemed new and worked perfectly.”
