“Hotel is very dated, carpets in corridors smelt bad, needs a good hoover, bathroom needs a refresh, bath rusty, very old tv,didn't get a wink of sleep as could hear water running,I won't be staying again unfortunately”

“Me gusto la casa y las dimensiones. Por otro lado, los utensilios de la casa, referido a la cocina, eran deficientes. Una casa preparada para 6, aunque eramos 4, y no habia mas que 5 vasos ( y todos de distinto tamaño), un juego de cubiertos, faltaba una paella de tamaño grande...lo de sólo poder estar una hora en la piscina tambien mejorable.”

“This was our 4th visit and we loved it.”

“The sea view room was great! Would recommend. Breakfast is an amazing selection! Staff are super friendly and helpful. It’s approx 15-20 scenic min walk into centre of Torquay.”

“External room on second floor. A bit dated but functional and clean. A couple of niggles but nothing major. Trip was a family get together and sadly a bit spoilt by the service from the restaurant kitchen for our family meal. There was a function”

“Booked a “best estuary” view room and it did not disappoint, view was amazing and we had a lovely large balcony. We had fantastic weather for October so we made the most of this beautiful location. Hotel staff were super helpful, breakfast was good and we also used the Spa which was a nice bonus. All in all would definitely return, location of this hotel is perfect for winderful views and short walking distance to all that Salcombe has to offer.”

“No room service available.”

“The staff were all very polite, helpful, and friendly.”

“Staff were lovely, location is gorgeous, rooms very outdated and in general the flow of constant tour buses full of elderly travelers made me feel like I was staying in a nursing home. Staff very rigid about breakfast timing and use of breakfast room not alllowed after 10:00am so if you are not an early riser, take note. Lift was also broken for full 4 nights of our stay and we were on the 3rd floor.”

“A very disappointing stay. We booked a deluxe sea view (with large bay window) double or twin room via Expedia. On arrival at the hotel we did not get the room we booked and paid for. According to Expedia’s description and photographs the room we were given was a STANDARD double room for SINGLE occupancy. As the hotel was fully booked we had to tolerate this very small room with four steps up to the bathroom and really not enough room for two people. The room in no way bore any resemblance to...

“Solo me arrepiento de no haber reservado más noches. El SPA está genial y tiene un horario muy amplio.”
