“We were only here for one night (next time it will be longer!). It was just two of us so we had Cabin 5 which was perfect for us. Great location, very nice staff, and a wonderful property. ”

“Contacted the property ahead of arriving because of a confusing email I received. They were able to confirm our reservation and checked us in over the phone, which allowed us to continue our sightseeing and not have to worry about it. The bathroom was small but the water was hot. One downside is that since it's on a main road there was lots of traffic noise in the morning. ”

“We were greeted as a welcome guest. Our room was above their dining area; which they offered to visit for great food. Our room was cozy and comfortable. We walked aroud the community and enjoyed the charm. We returned to the hotel for food and drinks. The food was great! Our stay was wonderful. We would stay again.”

“This is one of the nicest 'Up North' cabins I've stayed in. The cabins are clean and fresh rustic style. The beds were comfortable. A lot of consideration was given to Travelers needs to deal with their stuff. The property is great with the fire pit, trail to the Platte River, game room, well maintained yard. I totally recommend staying at Cedar Ridge Cabins.”

“The Motel Bear Lake was all we wanted it to be My sister and I were born in the 50s and vacationed in Northern Michigan during our childhood. We met the owner during our stay and discovered that her desire to restore the motel to it's former 1960s glory is a labor of love based on her childhood memories. “When I looked at the review I saw it was a 10! I thought oh, no place is a 10, well this place is. Super clean well designed and provisioned. This is an older motel that has been upgraded. Great comfortable bed, nice kitchen with all the things u would need to cook a meal or two. Efficient bathroom that is super clean and has everything u need. Such a nice surprise! The check in is done on your phone and it went to junk mail folder. We got it straightened out pretty quickly. Just be aware more...

“The location was great for getting to all the areas we love in NW michigan and the resort property itself is AMAZING as always - but the condo is dated, should offer more linens for the stay due to the fact that there is no washing/drying machine available. Just didn't get a good "clean at home" kind of feeling - the vent when you enter good use a good wipe down. It's the first thing you see! ”
