“Apartment unit was very nice, shower was cold but in buildings like that it's hard to keep the shower water warm. The sunrise view was beautiful, the walk on Detroit River boardwalk was awesome, neighborhood nice. Due to construction it was harder to get to the parking lot but we found a way. The back parking lot seemed sketchy so I am glad we got a spot in the front parking lot. My son (age 13) loved the loft room. ”

The place is cool, it's an easy walk to Hart Plaza and downtown, and it's got character. You get a lot of space compared to a hotel room. What I didn't like - Fixtures were broken in the bahtroom, there was no waterproof shower curtain liner in the bathroom, there were only 2 pillows with pillow cases for 2 people,...

“Check in process was easy, wasn’t sure where to park and had to walk up three flights of stairs because unit was on the 3rd floor which wasn’t mentioned in the listing.. The unit wasn’t very clean. The grate on the furnace was covered in dust, window sill was dirty and we didn’t have any blankets or linens for two of us to sleep. ”

“Great location, just a block and a half off the main drag. Old abandoned mansion district is now full of new life. Due to location street parking on this block is free when available. Good communication with host, no problems with access. Friendly cats and neighbors. Came in for a concert at the Majestic Theater and this was a perfect choice. ”
