As the FLG local, I got sucked into, I mean… honored with the task of finding that special place for a bit of knot tying! This place caught my attention even though it’s tucked in a gritty neighborhood that used to housed loggers for a local mill. It’s got a raw-meets-refined aesthetic you’d expect from a secret London loft with weathered brick and vintage chandeliers. All the vintage steel, 3 story ceilings, skylights, and open stairs creates the rustic luxe ambiance of a Brooklyn art house… yes, please. The vibe is edgy, unexpected, and unforgettable… the kind of place you hear about from a friend of a friend. Hidden and haute but not hauty. For our micro wedding, it felt like we’d scored the ultimate hidden venue—stylish, soulful, and just far enough off the radar but close to downtown. It was fun just to watch everyone’s expressions when they first walked in. The rooms are big, some are huge with king beds and sleeper sofas. All had private en-suite bathrooms. The floorplan allowed seamless flow for guests to jump into the group experience or tuck away in the rooms. Group hangout spots all had photogenic and distinct atmosphere for guests to gather, toast, take photos, and relax. We chose the third-floor deck as the backdrop for the ceremony for the panoramic mountain views and sunset skies.
