At our 4pm check in, we parked on the street for a few minutes until the cleaning person left.
My observations: homes are really close to one another, porch furniture is dirty with an abundance of spider webs. Inside there was a large mass of hair in the corner next to the couch, the paper towel in the kitchen was left at a 1/4 roll without a replacement, containers of shampoo, conditioner, body wash left 1/2 empty, toiletry containers in bathrooms were 99% empty (unlike the pictures), and the backyard patio was a mess; the screen door was broken and wouldn’t close/open properly, spider webs galore and bird droppings on the table/chairs. The dogs next door are very large (150lbs +) and very loud. Had we messaged the owner as instructed, I would’ve been on my phone every 5 minutes. They growled as soon as we stepped out and barked at us the entire time we were outside unless the homeowner was yelling at them to stop. So we stayed inside most of our stay. No a/c but we knew that from reviews.
The living room furniture isn’t comfy. The couch is literally a one person lounger without any cushioning and one of the two arm chairs was sittable, not a word but accurate.
While we were halfway through grilling our dinner the next day, we found out the propane hadn’t been filled.
Plusses: Master bedroom bed is comfy and the water was cold from the tap and drinkable.
Am I picky, possibly, but paying just shy of $1200, I think it’s justified.
