This property is listed on Expedia and apparently it’s an vrbo property and nowhere in the listing does it state that an additional agreement must be signed or specify the amount of the pet fee. The listing also implies a water view, which is not accurate — there is no water view from the unit or backyard unless you climb five stairs to access a small deck.
Most concerning, the owner lives upstairs, which was not clearly disclosed. The TV in the bedroom did not work; we notified the owner on the first day, and it was never addressed. There was cat feces on the stairs between the bedroom and the owner’s area. Only two bath towels were provided for a four-day stay. It was also evident that a cat had been in the bedroom, which caused an issue because my husband is allergic.
There were posted rules throughout the property, which made the stay feel uncomfortable. Overall, for the price charged, the property did not deliver the value or accuracy represented in the listing.
