“Structures under construction during the day so there is some noise, at night quiet private we felt very comfortable, unit is clean and updated nice size bathroom whole unit was great no issues hosts were friendly Normal people! Hard to find these days all around great home base”

“Loved our stay at The Sand. It was quiet, quaint, and just a few minute walk to the beach! I would recommend buying any cleaning supplies, coffee, spices, beach gear etc. you may need. Otherwise the stay was amazing and tucked away at the end of the block.”

“The condo was spotless and newly decorated. The building itself was still being renovated from Ian, but it was fine. Kitchen was not well appointed. We had no lunch plates, no paring knife, limited pots and pans. Overall it was great!”

“Room was disgustingly dirty . Furniture fell apart almost got hurt drawers were full of sand , freezer was rusted remote and front door did not work properly , bugs in room all day on table. Pillows were disgusting . Stay away from this condo. property manager didn’t care at all about room n was severely overpriced for the condo. Beware of renting from sea gypsy vacation rentals . Gorgeous view but horrible experience with everything else. Vrbo is awesome to rectify your situation”

“The property managers were very responsive and helpful when we had a last minute change to our plans. The property was as advertised. A little dated but clean and beds were comfortable. One shower is a drawback but knew that going in. Overall it was a great experience and the location of the property right on the beach was great. The views and ability to walk back and forth from the beach with small children made for a great stay.”

“As owners of a condo on the beach (that is being rebuilt) we wanted to stay on the island was the main reason we picked this condo. But we are sad to share our experience... The bed was not comfortable at all very inexpensive sheets that would not even stay on the bed. (this kept us up all night) The couch was the most uncomfortable couch (futon) we have ever had in a room and we have stayed on FMB a lot over the last 10 years. The furniture was not good all around that we even left 3 days early...

“Enjoyed our week there.short walk to beach . The unit had everything you could need. The pool was nice in the afternoon to relax in. Marie was close by to answer any questions we had. Would stay there again . It was good to see a lot of our favorite restaurants were back.”

“Really enjoyed the apartment, its roomy, we loved the balcony and it was clean. We would like to note that the walls are very thin, so we could hear the neighbors loud and clear. The air-condition unit in the bedroom still made a rattling sound, while the one in the livingroom was quiet. Washer/dryer is shared with the other apartments and can’t be used between 10am and 3pm. Enough towels were provided, that way we could work around that schedule. Overall we enjoyed Fort Myers Beach again and...

Trash bins filled to the top outside, electrical wires exposed all over the pool area, elevator malfunctioned and my 14 year old got stuck and firefighters had to assist. Refrigerator water and ice dispenser were broken, dyers only worked for 1 laundry session then it malfunctioned the whole time, barn doors in master bedroom not adequate width resulting in door coming off track and...
