Family Staycation

We had 3 generations stay together at the lake. Our granddaughters loved the beauty parlor and wanted to go there everyday to fix their hair - something we never would have thought was there. The beds were all very comfortable. A lot of wildlife including 17 deer at one time on the property and a beaver. The property was close to anything we could have wanted but felt like we were in a rural setting. The owner was very responsive when we contacted her with a question. There were a lot of step downs in the house that are a real tripping hazard so be aware and watchful. The only thing I would have changed was the condition of some of the cookware but typical of a rental home that has a lot of use.

Lovely family vacation

We swam, fished , enjoyed the beautiful scenery and wildlife. Lots of space for a comfortable vacation with extended family.

Amazing place with exceptions!

Home is AMAZING! Area is beautiful! Information you need to know: a very limited amount of towels are provided (maybe 8 towels are there), and there are no toiletries, except for some toilet paper. We had to buy towels after we got there. There are some things that need to be fixed (loose faucet in mid-level bathroom, door knob to the bunk room came off), but overall, I would love to stay there again!!! There is a short walk to the water front. The property line prevents you from accessing the water front nearby. It would be best for you to bring your own kayaks. There are two outdoor grills but they are in bad shape. There is not a trash can outside to put trash in. We had to leave it in the house. I understand there is one at the entrance of the property but I guess I missed it. There are separate living quarters on the ground level! It is awesome! The house is unique and so beautiful!! We enjoyed being there so much!! Would absolutely stay there again!!!

Great place to gather

We had friends and family coming in from multiple locations and this was a perfect gathering for us all. Lots of bedrooms so each family got their own space. Owners were very quick to respond to any question i had. We had no issues for the weand thoroughly enjoyed the location. Right on the lake.

We had a great time staying at the Mariposa Lake House. We had family from New Jersey and Houston come together to celebrate Christmas. We had a total of 15 people sleep comfortably. The house was clean. We would definitely go back.

Great spot on Eagle Mountain Lake

The property is as described but just wish we could have access to the open water if we wanted to rent a boat. We also want to disclose that if you are considering this home for the 4th of July or a day in which there could be fireworks, the neighbors were shooting fireworks until 3:30am. Overall a great house for a family rental.

Great quiet place, lots of room, super comfortable beds,

House was amazing for our wedding, the house layout is super nice and lots of room. I was concerned about all the wasps but later found out most of them are dirt dobbers so not an issue. The beds are super cofertable

Great House

The house was clean & nice but we rented it for the outdoor area for a company picnic. The outdoor grounds were in bad shape, over grown, lots of tall weeds. The porch was a disaster with broken chairs and other broken items. In all we had to spend about five hours, two of us to get it ready. Water is not near the property and hasn't been for some time, 3' weeds under boat ramp! The view is great. Front door key pad didn't work so was unlocked on our arrival and we could not lock for the entire stay unless we were inside. We made it work but for the price we spent too much time on it.

Great place for family gatherings

Great place for family gatherings. Good location on a eagle Mountain Lake away from city hassle, but not too remote. Seven minutes to a well stocked Dollar General. Fifteen minutes to anything else you might need including a selection of restaurants.

Perfect Lake House for Special Occasions

My now husband and I rented this property for ourselves and our bridal party for 3 days. Our home wasn't large enough for all the bridal party, family, and friends, coming and going through the hectic pre-wedding festivities. This house was great, very large, and had most everything we needed, plus lots of games, outdoor fire, lake access, etc. With all that being said, it is a lake house and with thay comes the outdoor bugs and spider webs, which didn't bother us much. We did wish that the outdoor furniture cushions were cleaner or newer, but again we're nit picking here. Very happy with our stay and the communication between us and the property manager. Thank you for being part of our wedding memories! 💙
