“We had a great stay! Tim was easy to communicate with, the house was clean, and as other guests have said - the photos don’t do it justice. The bedrooms are good sizes and we had everything we needed. My daughter appreciated the tvs with access to app subscriptions. The hot tub is huge, very relaxing. Lovely to have a fire and outside space. Being next to the stream and right by the waterfall was a great bonus. ”

“Beautiful grounds , lovely setting , little bit out of Douglas but everything was easily accessible , you do need a car!
Staff are super and the hotel is sparkling clean . Food in the Bar/Lounge was first class ( not cheap ) service was very good .
Brilliant Breakfast Buffet …nice views from the table . Would highly recommend this hotel .”

“A brilliant location. Bus stops right in the square, you can get anywhere on the Island.
The George is a bit tired but the staff and location makes up for it.

El hotel está en remodelación.

“The property is unique to its era and old fashioned which in my opinion suits the IOM and i find charming.The rooms are comfortable but no daily servicing of the room, meaning I had to ask for toilet rolls and clean towels during my 4 day stay.
It's location is excellent for transport for visiting the beautiful island.
The staff are very pleasant , friendly and helpful.Breakfast had plenty of choice and was very good.I thought an ordinary restaurant rather than a loud pub and Asian food ...

“There were signs of wear and tear within the building, the room with a sea view was ideally situated .there was some noise from traffic. Compared to other stays in Douglas, this hotel was very good.”
