“This cute, clean cottage was simple but well equipped and on a quiet, well tended property with a beautiful ocean view. A covered porch with chairs and a picnic table are there for you to enjoy the outdoors. Arrive with everything you need (coffee!) as this is a rural property without amenities nearby. Would stay again. ”

“Excellent place to stay near Guysbourgh. So quiet you can hear your own thoughts and no light pollution so you can see all the stars. Only small issue was people before us had a dog so we had a slight wet dog smell in the apartment but it was dealt with quickly.”

“Beautifully renovated and maintained property. Very high quality bedding and furniture. Nice to stay in an authentic 1837 manor. ”

“The house is, technically, as described but there are a few design issues that made it hard to use. The ladder, which is needed to access the loft, blocks the bathroom door. So if you have it in place for climbing, it has to be moved to open the loo door, then moved back to climb back up again. We have stayed in tiny houses before and found them easier to maneuver around. Which would be fine but at this price it should be somewhat more comfy. Caveat Emptor”

“Southside Harbour Vacations Apartment was a lovely little gem along the Antigonish Harbour. We loved the apartment! It’s a spacious layout with beautiful decor. It was meticulously clean. John and Kathryn were very friendly hosts, they shared lots of information about the area’s highlights and accommodated us with kayaks and a lobster steamer.
