“All the rooms are different but all are good-sized. Our room has double bathroom sinks, a large shower, a chaise lounge in addition to two armchairs. Very comfy. The breakfasts are excellent! Their so-called mini-continental is big enough to fill up most people: fresh baked muffin, croissant, fresh fruit, cheeses& meats, yogurt, juice, coffee. “We had a wonderful 3 nights stay. Beautiful surroundings and a lovely setting at the restaurant to enjoy a delicious breakfast. Our room was large with a lovely bathroom. It was quiet and cool so barely needed to use the AC. But what made it such a wonderful place to stay were the amazing staff, who were so friendly and helpful they truly made our stay very special. Can’t wait to stay again. ”

“This hotel is a fantastic base for a visit to the wine region. The hotel is a short drive from Franschhoek with the hotel providing an excellent shuttle bus service. The staff could not be any more friendly or obliging if they tried and we really felt at home here. The only gripe is that the pool beds are not that comfortable but otherwise this a hotel I would highly recommend and will definitely stay there again.”

“Plumwood boutique hotel was situated close to all the amenities in Franschhoek. The room was spotless. The staff were excellent on always on hand to help us. We had an amazing breakfast with a fantastic choice. “ We spent five nights in the petite apartment, which is beautiful, spacious and very well equipped. Lovely gardens, swimming pool and a braai. The maintenance and cleaning is to a very high standard, WiFi worked well. It’s well located in a quiet / safe area, pleasant walk to an abundance of great restaurants, cafes and wine bars. Highly recommend a visit, we’ll be back!”

“This hotel deserves a much better rating on Expedia! We just returned from a night and a day in the Provençal Suite. The room and hotel generally are immaculate with all facilities you could want set among pristine gardens. The private plunge pool was a wonderful way to enjoy the view along with the complementary bottle of wine they provided in the room.
