Lone Star Cabin No. 1 - Texas Hill Country

  • The Lone Star Cabin is located just 5 ½ miles east of downtown Fredericksburg on US Hwy 290. The Cabin is approximately 900 square feet in size, with one master bedroom (King Size Bed), bath, walk-in closet, living room, dining area and full kitchen (open concept). There are TV’s in the living room and master bedroom. There is another full bathroom off from the living room with shower. The cabin is within walking distance to several Wineries and across the street from the new Altstadt Brewery.

We really weren’t hanging out there much. We were in town at my daughter’s house for the Thanksgiving celebration. She has the store BuddyLove on property. Be sure to stop by there for women’s clothes, boots, hats etc.

Great Experience

This is our second stay in Cabin 1 and hope to return next year. Great location for visiting wineries but also close to downtown Fredericksburg. Nice propane fire pit for sitting out in the evenings.

The location and cabin itself are perfect. Absolutely the most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept in. Will be back in the future for sure.

Wonderful place

Our stay here was amazing. Being right behind the winery and being able to enjoy a fire at night and sip on a glass of wine is awesome. The place is beautiful! 10/10 recommend!

Great location and very clean.

Loved our stay. The cabin was minutes away from downtown Fredericksburg and provided a clean comfortable place to recover. The first thing i noticed about the cabin was how clean it was. If you're going to Fredericksburg i highly staying here.

Great Cabin's In the Middle of Texas Wine Country

The Lone Star Cabins are fully appointed and extremely comfortable. Whether cooking you own meals, grilling out or just a comfortable place to stay, these cabins are really great. This will always be my first choice when visiting the Fredericksburg area.

We loved our brief stay in this beautiful cabin. It was everything we were anticipating and was perfect for our stay. The bed was comfortable, everything was clean, well decorated and well cared for. The location was also great. Highly recommend!

Great getaway!

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very clean and well appointed with things we needed. It was a perfect location for enjoying all that Fredericksburg and the surrounding area has to offer. The bed was very comfortable and a perfect relaxing spot. Thank you for sharing the cabin.

Cute and quiet

Perfect place to stay while visiting my daughter at Sam Houston, which is only about 15 minutes away. This place has all the nice touches that make it great - from the kitchen with coffee already there, to homemade bread, to the quiet setting with deer and cows in the backyard!

Fantastic

Just close enough to town that we could hop in for some fun, but far enough away to “get away”. Place was perfect, just behind a great little winery, and walking distance to several more! Perfect for a short getaway for two!

We liked everything about the cabin, the kitchen table instead of counter seating, the extra bathroom, the bed was amazingly comfy, the perfectly quiet nights for sleep. This is our second time to stay in this cabin when in Fredericksburg. The only negative is we simply could not get the dish on the living room TV to work. The bedroom TV worked fine. We couldn't get it to work on our first visit either.

Perfect

The cabin was nicely decorated and very comfortable for my husband and I- the couch and bed were comfy and we enjoyed relaxing on the multiple porches! We also loved that it was located in close proximity to Luckenbach, nearby wineries, and a short 7 minute drive to Fredericksburg. We’d definitely book again!
