  • Lone Star Cabin No. 3 is located just 5 ½ miles east of downtown Fredericksburg on US Hwy 290 right in the middle of a number of special destination points. The Cabin is approximately 850 square feet in size with a large Primary Bedroom, King size bed & closet, and large bathroom. The floor plan includes a living room, kitchen Island with seating and full kitchen (open concept). There is a smart TV in the living room. The Cabin has a front and back covered porch areas with rocking chairs.

We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary it was a nice time we have stayed her many times over the years. Was missing cooking utensils for the grill outside but other than that great

We had such a nice stay. The cabin was clean and well appointed. Really cute decor, exactly as pictured. Loved having elk to watch right off the back porch. Host was very responsive and quick to answer questions. Will stay there again!

Excellent communication with host. Loved having the elk to watch right over the fence. Everything was clean and comfortable. I am already planning the next stay for a group of family and friends we have coming in October. The setup is such that each couple can have their own cabin but all be together on the same property. There is an outdoor gathering space that we plan to make use of. Overall a wonderful place for a stay. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time !!

It was a great little get away. We will definitely stay there again. We have stayed on the property at a different cabin before it was a great experience both times.

Peaceful, comfortable getaway

Our stay at Lone Star Cabins was peaceful and comfortable. Cabin was immaculate; bed was comfortable; location is quiet. We would recommend this stay for anyone visiting the area.

These cabins are wonderful. This was my second stay and it was perfect again. Location to wineries and Fredericksburg can't be beat. Watching the wildlife from our back porch was amazing. We had an evening visit from 2 elk that came up to the fence to say Hi. Very clean. Minimal kitchen supplies but they were adequate for the two of us. Only 1 roll of toilet paper and no facial tissue so we'll bring those next time. Highly recommend Lone Star cabins. Also, Halter Ranch Vineyards has incredible wines and a chef who creates delicious menus. We will be back!

Lovely weekend

We stayed at Lone Star cabin # 3 and it was a very relaxing time. We found the cabin was clean and comfortable. It was also close to wineries which we were interested in, as well as Enchanted rock which was a highlight of our trip! Would definitely stay there again!

A great Place for Enjoying Fredericksburg

Lone Star Cabin #3 is an excellent place for enjoying Fredericksburg and the Texas Wine Country. The cabin is well equipped, and the host is very responsive.
