Nuestra elegante casa de vacaciones en Main Street Retreat, nuestra casa de campo Thyme está convenientemente ubicada a solo 6 cuadras del centro de Main Street. La carpintería exuda el arte refinado de Fredericksburg. The rooms are very large and very nice with large walk-in showers. The manager was very accommodating when we asked to change room due to the street noise. She moved us to a very nice room by the pool. Very nice room, great manager, very enjoyable stay

Fantastic spot

This is a great spot. Property, pool, hot tub...all very nice and clean. We stayed in 'Our Thyme' and found it to be very comfortable and well appointed...and loved the big front porch! Easy check in/out as well. Easy walk to town. I'd recommend this place to anyone...all of the cabins are cute and clean.

Main Street Casita

We booked for 4 nights and the check in process was smooth and easy. The property was clean overall. The dish rag was a little dirty and a couple cups still had lipstick on them but overall the apt was clean, nice shower, nice bathroom, bed was comfy overall, internet, cable tv, and walking distance to a lot of places. The pool was clean and nice temperature. The only negative was the few items in the kitchen that needed a little better cleaning and the traffic on the street. Highway 290 is a busy street and a truck route. Trucks run through all hours so be prepared for that. This unit faces the street. I bought earplugs at Walgreens after the first night. And we slept fine overall. I would recommend this place.

This was the cutest little place. Perfect location, spacious, very clean. There is a good size mini fridge, a coffee pot, and microwave. We absolutely loved our porch area! The road noise at night was not bad at all, there is a sound machine in the room which was really awesome. I will definitely stay here again.

No hot water bad check in

We were trying to enjoy a Valentine’s Day wine and chocolate paring but instead I had to chase down our check in information. After my inquiry a TXT message was supposed to be sent but it never came through even though I let them know it was never received Road noise was horrible but the worst was the 30 second luke warm shower After 30 second s it was ice water I tried to give feed back instead of a review but didn’t find that option NEVER AGAIN I HABE MORE TO SAY BUT I WILL STOP HERE

Couldn’t have asked for better! Perfect, private and adorable space for my husband and I. We actually locked ourselves out (hubby did it 😂) and Absolute Charm replied via email promptly to resolve. We stayed 2 nights in chilly October. Hot tub was great. Honestly only thing I would ask to change is get a keurig. I would definitely stay again!

The property was nice and quiet. Cute and clean. I would give it a 5 star but the keurig did not have a filter and did not work at all. The keurig did not turn on at all. I brought my own coffee and the coffee machine didn't work. I walked down the street for some early morning coffee so it was an easy fix. Other than that, it was super cute, away from the hustle and bustle in the main downtown area. I will be staying again.

Cute cottage and great location.

Everything was as expected from online. Clean, bed was very comfortable. Our unit was in the front on the road. Traffic noise was not bad at all. I could have stayed longer. Highly recommend . We will be back.

Great Getaway

My husband and I came down to Fredericksburg for our 30th anniversary. Our Thyme surpassed our expectations! It was beautiful, extremely clean, and very accessible to anything we wanted to do in Fredericksburg. Thanks again! We will be back!!

Quaint and Comfortable

Cozy little units right off Main Street. Easily accessible from the road and mostly as described online. Was a little surprised that the fireplace wasn’t an actual working fireplace, but that didn’t deter the stay much. Comfortable chairs, bed and bathroom. Hot tub worked a charm. Would definitely consider staying again. Yelp reviews were incredible misleading and wrong. We really enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful property close to town

Wonderful property close to town. Nice little cottage very comfortable. Beautiful bathroom excellent shower. Some straight traffic but didn’t disturb her sleep. Enjoy the hot tub and a cold evening. We will stay here again.

Not a nice romantic spot by any means

Went for an anniversary weekend. Completely baffled by the reviews on this place. They had to have manipulated them in some manner. We got stuck in a property up front. We were woken up several times throughout the night by loud 18wheelers and other traffic. It was old and the bed was extremely hard. We have twin toddlers and came during the week and simply wanted to be able to sleep in a bit and relax. Not in this place. We were both up bright and early with the nose. We tried to make the best of it until the last night when neighbors showed up. You could hear EVERYTHING from them walking around to conversation. That mixed with the uncomfortable bed and street noise literally made us leave at 8pm because at least at home we can have a quiet night and comfortable sleep. Do not chance the good reviews and stay here. You will not be happy.

Great getaway place

This was a great place to stay as it was very close to Main Street for all the bars/restaurants/shops. The room was perfect and had everything we needed for our weekend trip. The only drawback was that our specific house was right on the road and the cars were so loud going by. I would definitely stay again but would prefer to be towards the back next time.
