Exactly what we expected and needed, the patio and deck area are a relaxing place to enjoy the wildlife and scenery. Well thought-out and executed, with a small, grassy, fenced in area for your pooch to visit, with a few shrubs, a bird feeder and a gate. The inside was also comfy, with a king sized bed and ample pillows. There was a reclining loveseat with cupholders in the middle. The bathroom actually runs the length of short side of the cabin and is larger than the pictures seem to show. Extremely pet friendly and welcoming to those who want to view wildlife; we were able to view the various birds at the feeder and deer even from the picture window in the cabin where a small table for two is placed. I liked the fact that the drive leads to a circle in front of the cabin, making loading and unloading the car easy, and that the drive had a gate at the street. Overall the cabin is in a very good state of upkeep, we only noticed one small thing about a burned out light that didn't affect our stay, so we didn't mention it to the host. The cooling and heating unit worked great and was easy to operate with the supplied instructions. It was nice to have a clean chest of drawers to unpack our clothes into and also to have a small clothes rack with hangers available in the bathroom. Our host was very thoughtful with supplying ample, high quality towels and washcloths, toilet tissue, toiletries, etc for our several day stay and the cabin had a pleasant smell and appearance.
