This pet-friendly tiny house feels twice the size it actually is and the layout is genius--2 bedrooms with adjacent bathrooms, both of which have huge walk-in showers with great water pressure. If you want somewhere to retreat to, this is definitely the place. The beds and living room furniture are all comfortable enough to lounge in or on all day if you're feeling lazy (it was the perfect place to sit and surf the internet on a laptop or watch movies on the tv).It's a short walk to all the things--restaurants, shopping, coffee shops, entertainment--but it's far enough off the beaten path that there's practically no street traffic, it's perfectly quiet, and the Dark City rule ensures you'll see a sky full of constellations. The neighbors are nice, too!Our little dogs loved the huge back yard, where they spent hours sniffing around and exploring while I sat outside and knitted. The weather was just too perfect to pass up, and the adirondack chairs make it easy to hang out there. Be aware that there are dogs next door and while there's a fence, it's not a privacy fence, so they're visible. One of mine wanted to get a little barky sometimes, but the neighbor dogs were calm and polite.We enjoyed the hot tub late one night with cocktails so we could look at the stars. The sky is so beautiful from this place.Joe is the perfect host--very communicative and helpful. Bottom line, it was hard to leave and we're already talking about when we can come back.

We had a wonderful stay at the orange blossom hideaway. We were on a fun girls trip. The house was lovely. Loved the hot tub to relax after a day full of shopping and night full of fun. Fredricksburg is lovely!!

Siblings' Getaway

The cottage was very clean and well stocked with TP, towels, linens, soap, shampoo, coffee and other supplies. The air conditioning was very pleasant and quiet. The ceiling fans in the bedrooms were appreciated.The lighting in the living room, however, was inadequate for things like reading, playing cards, etc. The kitchen faucet gave us a shower every time we tried to use it because the water pressure was very high and the aerator was missing. And even though the water pressure was high the walk in shower water flow was low .However, our only real disappointment was that the bowl of oranges on the kitchen table had fake (albeit very realistic) fruit.We enjoyed our stay very much, though, and would have no problems with another stay in this pleasant little hideaway.

Fredericksburg Trip!

The house was perfect for me and the wife! Close to Main Street, nice neighborhood, super clean with everything you need, nice hot tub!Owners were very helpful and tentative. Overall loved the house and the town, we will be back! Highly recommended!

Quaint House

This two bedroom two bath house is quaint and comfortable for a short stay. There were a couple of non urgent maintenance items that the owner said they would repair. Please note that it does not have a cooktop or oven. We did not need them but others might if planning to cook dinner there.

Relaxing Spot with Family!

We enjoyed our time in this home away from home! We enjoyed the short walk to Main St. The beds were super comfy! The living room was perfect to visit with our parents! We did relax a few nights in the hot tub! Overall great space!

Fall Trip to the Orange Blossom Hideaway

This little house was super clean, in a good neighborhood and close to Main Street Fredericksburg which we loved. I didn't realize that the kitchen didn't have a store or dishwasher but that was my fault for not checking into it more throughly before booking. We made do with the microwave. My main concern was that the AC was probably preset and was too cold for our liking. I kept trying to turn it up and it would go back down. We also weren't sure how to turn on the hot tub but finally got one side to bubble. Not sure if there was a problem with it or it was just us old folks not knowing how to use it. It did feel nice the one night we tried it. With all that being said, it was a great little place and we would definitely stay there again.

Great place!

Wonderful property close to everything! We brought our pets (cat & dog) and it was great. The ONLY negative would be the lack of grass in the backyard. We couldn't let our dog outside because of the mud and dirt in areas. Other than that, it was an awesome place.
