Our very short stay was amazing! It is a beautiful home. The beds were extra comfortable, we were able to jump in the hot tub for an hour so tgat was nice. Overall i would rate everything a top 5 star. Only suggestion i would have is maybe having a deck of cards handy for a night game.

Amazing home!

This house was beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay! My wife mentioned over and over all weekend about how good of a job I did in picking out a place to spend our anniversary and new years! I was a bit concerned about it being a little further from Main Street than we usually stay, however it was really easy to grab an Uber ride and be on main street or a restaurant in just a few minutes. Great property, can’t wait to visit again!

Amazing, Cozy, Relaxing home

Really loved our stay here. The home is so clean, comfortable and cozy. We loved sitting out at night in the private backyard area by the fire and looking at the stars as well as the hot tub and bar be queing. Quiet and Quaint. The kitchen is also incredible. Fully stocked for anything you may need for cooking. I cant say enough good things about this place. Cant wait to come back for another stay.

Hill Country Paradise!

Beautifully restored 1920 Victorian Hill Country Retreat. This property in the historic district of Fredericksburg is a perfect place to unwind, relax, and simply enjoy life! Hats off to the owners of this beautiful and charming home. It was wonderfully decorated and so comfortable too! We loved everything about it. Lots of creature comforts and chocked full of amenities. 21st wedding anniversary

We had the greatest time in this amazing property, definitely one of our highlights this trip. The home has been restored to mint condition and details exceeded model home conditions. You can easily notice the level of attention put into this home and feel privileged to get to stay in historic piece of art. A must stay home when traveling to Fredriksburg

31st Wedding Anniversary GetAway

My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend and it was fabulous. The house and interior looked exactly as advertised. We only stayed in the room to the right of the front door, so I can only comment on that bed, but it may have been the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. We stopped at a grocery store as we came into town and purchased supplies for the weekend. We had so much fun at the house, we didn't leave much. We utilized the grill several times and enjoyed the spa/hot tub area. We tackled Enchanted Rock on our last full day there. The hot tub was a pretty nice thing to come back to, as my 53 year old legs were feeling the burn after our hike. My only criticism is the seating surface in the hot tub. The stand alone fiberglass hot tubs I've been in before are very smooth. The one on the property felt a little scratchy by comparison. The robes that are available for the guests to use during the stay are next level. Overall, a fantastic time and we plan on going back with another couple in the future. Also, I gave communication with the property owner 5 stars some what blindly. We never needed to communicate with them after the reservation was made. 5 stars made sense, as everything else was a 5 star evaluation.
