“Room was clean and staff were helpful, had a family room with 2 double beds. But with having children and in a family room I would expect a child lock on the window. Also they was a screw sticking out through the wood of the room door frame latch plate.. apart from that the hotel was clean and staff were helpful.”

“A lovely hotel. Cosy, spacious rooms. Very airy. Very clean bed, nice linens. Large shower, fab lit up mirror in the bathroom. TV was in good working condition and on a swivel bracket so could be watched from the bed, or sofa. There were waters, 2 lotus biscuits, tea and coffee in the rooms. The best bit were the fans in the wardrobe, which were powerful and much needed in the hot weather, so we were able to get a good nights sleep. Breakfast the next morning was varied and good quality. “Lovely place to stay! We stayed for a night, perfect room for our family of 4 for our quick stopover. Breakfast was included too, which was a lovely selection of cereals and a fry up. Parking was easy. Tea/coffee in the room too. Great stopover we had, thank you.”

The rooms were comfortable and spacious and the grounds impeccably maintained, resulting in a perfect family reunion weekend involving picnics in the gardens, meals in the restaurants and restful sleeps.
