Excelente todo excepto el baño

Excelente ubicación, cama muy cómoda, excelente desayuno con calidad comparable a un 5 estrellas, cortesías incluidas como bebidas, helado, café o té con galletas, internet de alta velocidad. A consideración el baño es pésimo, pequeño, incómodo y la ducha sin presión, ojalá y arreglen las duchas demerita a un excelente hotel

Muy buen hotel. La hubicación es perfecta, en plena calle centrica pero sin ruidos. La limpieza muy buena, el personal muy amable y el desayuno bastante bueno

Good hotel but not the most helpful of staff

I have been to chulia mansion several times in the past and have noticed the decline in the staff efficiency. When asking the reception staff for assistance in information of the general area they where very negative and not helpful at all. At the beginning of the stay you are asked to pay a security deposit that you are reimbursed on departure, when I checked out unfortunately I lost one of the room key cards and was charged for it from the deposit, this is the first time that I have ever been charged for key card anywhere I have stayed, if it was a physical key I would totally understand but not for a piece of plastic. In general the room, facility and location is great but the staff efficiency has dropped considerably from what it was and I would defiantly not recommend it to a friend.

Hotel céntrico y correcto

Desayuno completo. Habitación espaciosa aunque sin armario. Personal correcto. Sólo un enchufe en la habitación y ninguno en el baño. A veces, durante la noche, se escucha la llamada a la oración de la mezquita que tiene al lado.

the hotel offers good breakfast (i am very picky). very good coffee all day long, confortable king size bed bed, excellent location, clean. our room was very quiet. i would stay there again

Free wine!

Buen hotel con muchas regalos de cortesía (helado gratis, vino gratis de 5 a 7, agua caliente y fría en cada piso). Camas cómodas, buen AC y excelente personal. En general una muy buena experiencia.

Increíble hotel. Nuevo, bien mantenido y lo mejor de todo: vino y bebidas gratis de 5:30-7:30 pm. Y por si eso fuera poco, también tienes helado gratis hasta las 2 am! Un agrado el personal y muy buena ubicación.

Perfecta ubicación y servicios. Dan muchos extras como agua, una copa diaria, un kilo de ropa para lavar gratis. Lo único negativo es que a las 6am te despierta el rezo de la mezquita pegada al hotel. Pero al final tiene su encanto.

Old faithfful still doing a good job!

The breakfast has been diminished because of 5he virus situation. I was prepared for it to be bad, BUT IT IS QUITE ADEQUATE. THEY ARE STILL DOING A GOOD JOB.

Great value

Clean, relatively comfortable beds, very good breakfast bar. Unexpected extras such as evening complementary drinks and free ice cream. Would definately stay again if in the area.

Excellent location,good breakfast, plus free tea, coffee and cookies all day, with a free glass of wine and Ice cream in the roof top bar in the evening. Sadly the lift was out of order for part of our stay. Staff happily carried out heavy suitcases down for us, so not really a problem.

The rooms were very spacious and had comfortable beds. The only issue was that the glass in the windows were not very soundproof and since we were right over Chulia street and next to a mosque, it did get a bit loud, but nothing that impacted our sleep too significantly. There was free ice cream which you can enjoy over the nice rooftop area. We were spoilt for choice at the breakfast buffet and it was a great way to start the day. Overall, it's a great stay in a central location.

Good hotel - worth the stay

We just had a night and really it wasn't enough. Check-In was basic with no fuss. We arrived an hr early but was told room wasn't ready and had to wait till 2pm. No worries there. Our room was suitable enough for 2 on a short stay. It was clean, tidy and with all the usual amenities. The buffet breakfast was good and quite filling with many East and West dishes. Hotel's location was spot on with lots of small shops and full stalls all around- also a number of pubs n clubs all in walking distance. My only gripe was reception staff were less then friendly and came across with a not interested attitude. But I think that's subjective. Dinning and rooftop staff though were great!! Overall we enjoyed our short stay. It's a good hotel and recommended.

Great place to stay in Penang!!! Location was perfect. By Love Lane, night food stalls and on the bus route. The hotel was great; nice staff, quiet, comfortable and feee ice cream and wine!!!! Who does that??!!! We enjoyed our stay.

因升降機會發出嘈音，千萬不要接受01號的房間，除非你需嘈音才睡到。 因嘈音而睡不著，影響精神。要求調房間，因房滿而於第二晚才可換，但冷氣又不凍，又弄一段時間才可睡。 早餐選擇頗多和豐富，要給贊。 清晨5時多到機場，無Grab回應，問Reception可否幫忙叫車，又是無辦法。

Nothing special, location is the biggest asset

The location of the hotel is very good! Close to many places to eat and drink. The hotel had a nice rooftop that we had a drink at each night, which had a nice view. The staff were not so friendly and didn't seem to care about making our stay comfortable. There was an odd yellow and dripping stain on the wall by the bed and when we brought this to the attention of the girl at the front desk, she quickly cut me off and said she'd send the cleaning crew. They came to look at it, but never actually cleaned it or offered us any type of resolution. We were next to something which made noises all night. It sounded like someone was constantly hanging and rehanging clothes on a rack ALL night, each night we stayed. The location was great, but the hotel was average with less than impressive customer servuce.
