The home is nice overall with pretty views. Had a few issues. Received a message on check in day that cleaning took longer and was not ready-were offered a later check out time to compensate and accepted. The home listing advertised a hot rub. On arrival there was note on counter stating the hot tub was out of order. Messaged owner who responded that the hot rub was not part of the rental. We shared that it was advertised with hot tub and that we could send screen shots of their vrbo home description. Received an apology response message. As we were unloading belongings at check in, we received a message to please not leave door open as it could let insects in. We left door open for a few minutes as we were bringing in luggage. Noticed 2 cameras outside in front, one in back & on the side of home. Cameras were not disclosed in the vrbo description of this home. Also, there was an old bracket for a camera in the kitchen by the stairs-no current camera- but that, along with message as we were unloading, was unsettling. Twice during our stay people approached the home. The first said he was looking for a resort and the next said he was looking at the view. The description advertised a gameroom but left out that it has no AC-kids would have liked to spend time there but too hot. Owner said they would refund 15 % due to amenities not as described & we felt that was fair, but they have not followed through with what they promised. Disappointed in our experience at this property.
