“Very remote location in an old colonial home on a former plantation. Owner lives on site, amongst other male friends. Need car to reach. No signage. Moldy room and no screened windows. A collection of toiletries from other hotels: tacky”

Our room looked out to the ocean and we loved falling asleep to the sound of the waves and coquis every night. The restaurant on the property is delicious and well priced. “I can highly recommend a stay at Big Sky Lodge when in Grenada! It is away from the buzz in the middle of nature, a wonderful, well-mantained oasis run by Thomas and his family. I felt so well here! I stayed in one of the spacious cabins that come with an own fan, own bathroom and a little terrace with the most lovely views of the Caribbean Sea and the lush surroundings. “Room was spotless and well equipped. The apartment is large and comfortable. The setting is unbelievably serene. I could have stayed there forever, enjoying the peace and quiet. The scenery out the window looked like a painting of water and sailboats. Enjoyed dinners at nearby Le Phare Bleu. The view from the gym is spectacular. The pool is fabulous. Responsiveness of staff is amazing! ”

“Room was clean and spacious. The only downer is the location it is a bit of a walk to the main area to get the regular bus $2.50. But there is taxi service starting at $15US to take you to the beach Grand Anse or into town”

“The view of the ocean from this hotel is spectacular. In particular, the view from the infinity edge pool is second to none. You would be hard-pressed to find a better one in the Caribbean. The staff are helpful and friendly. The office is open to visitors and convenient to your room. The beach is a 5-10 minute walk down the hill and to the left. It's not an easy walk if you are carrying lots of supplies. Taxi might be best, but it is walkable. ”
