“My husband and I were looking for a little getaway to celebrate our wedding anniversary and this place fit our needs. We loved the vibe of the converted schoolhouse. It was a spacious but cozy place to stay! The fireplace and hot tub were welcomed benefits. You can tell that they take care and take pride in the space. Kayla was very responsive to our questions. “We were utterly charmed and pleased with our stay at the Sacandaga Lake House, and loved every minute we were there. We skied at Lapland Nordic Ski Center every day, a 30 minute easy drive north up Rt. 30, and looked forward to our return to the house to enjoy the amazing hot tub and great fireplace. “This was the most comfortable place we’ve ever stayed. The beds were great, the kitchen was well appointed and labeled, and the living room furniture was amazing. Comfortable seating is so rare. The whole place was so amazing that I hesitated to write this review because there might be a run on the place and we won’t be able to rent it when we need it. Other places could take lessons from this host!!!”
