Awful experience. Surprised about this Marriot property. I checked in 7.27pm on Wednesday 04/03. Got room 221, and first thing I do getting into the room is use the restroom and take a pee… try to flush toilet and it was already clogged… my wife can’t use it now. Ok let’s call front desk! Phone in the room has no cord… crap! ok let’s walk back to front desk and tell them about the 2 issues: toilet and phone. I would expect a new room by now but they said a maintenance worker is on the way… ok we are back into the room 221 and 5mins later maintenance guy comes connects a cord to the phone and tries to unclog toilet with no luck even after trying for a while, again I would expect a quick reaction from Marriot team and get a new room, but no I’m told to wait and they will be back and let me know … 25 mins later no one has contacted us, I decide to pack my stuff and make a show at the lobby while other customers look at me as I make my rant to the lady in front desk. She doesn’t really care much looks unbothered and told me to speak with manager who is another lady that shows off minutes later. This new lady ‘Fatima’ tells me ‘oh your issue hasn't been solved yet?’… really? What kind of weird world and communication issues does this hotel staff has??? Finally she gets me a new room and a courtesy breakfast… total 50minutes to get a working room, nice record!
