"Puanani", una flor hawaiana para hermosas flores, es una casa familiar de estilo hawaiano ubicada al final de un tranquilo callejón sin salida a poca distancia de la bahía de Hanalei y la ciudad. Se puede disfrutar de un amplio patio con plumeria, hibisco, jazmín que florece de noche y un exuberante jardín con pájaros melódicos desde la terraza cubierta delantera y trasera. Decorada con muebles de mimbre y bambú y diseñada con techos con vigas abiertas y paredes de cedro natural, la casa tiene una sensación de amplitud y comodidad.

La playa creciente de Hanalei Bay se encuentra a pocos pasos para tomar el sol, peinarse en la playa, nadar en temporada y espectaculares puestas de sol. Dé un paseo por la playa hasta el histórico muelle de Hanalei para disfrutar de impresionantes vistas de las montañas y cascadas de los alrededores.

Location was amazing. Loved the property. Clean and beautiful, as advertised. We appreciated the extra towels and beach equipment. Only slight downside is low privacy with lots of open windows and nearby neighbors.

This place is cozy, quiet, clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. The beach is a very short walk and the town of Hanalei too. We loved the lanai and yard. We will be back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: An ideal home base for our North Shore vacation, this home allowed us to feel like we lived right in Hanalei. Super easy walk to the beach, even carrying all our gear. Walking to town for meals and shopping is even easier. We loved being on a quiet, residential street where we could get good sleep and have plenty of space all to ourselves. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. It felt like home for the time we were lucky enough to stay there. I would definitely stay there again!

Perfect Hanalei Getaway

If you are looking for a simple Hanalei beach getaway you wont do better than Puanani Hale. Perfect location on a quiet cul-du-sac, a short walk from both the stores and the beach.

Reviewer Comments: We, a family of 4 adults, had a wonderful stay in this property in Hanalei.The house fully lived up to our expectations, the rooms are nice and spacious, and it was absolutely spotless clean when we arrived.The location close to both the beach and the town was perfect for us, and very peaceful except during working hours, where there was som noise from a building site to the back of the house. The noise didn’t bother us much, since we mostly were out and about in the daytime.The kitchen amenities were good, the bathrooms were nice and clean, and the outdoor shower was great!Overall we are very satisfied.

Nice house. Very private on a small cul-de-sac. Neighbors can be a little noisy at times -- loud conversations/music until 11pm or so isn't uncommon. But super convenient to the Lahaina main strip...easily walkable to tons of restaurants, shops, and the beach. No A/C, so you'll use the fans a lot in the summer. Kitchen has the basics, but no dishwasher.

June 2019 Stay

We absolutely adored everything about our stay at Puanani house. It was immaculate and comfortable in every way. The location was perfect - we could walk to the beach or town in minutes, but had a sense of quiet and peace away from the crowds. The kitchen was well set up and the grill very good, so we cooked in several times. Despite the rainy week it was a joy to be there. Reading on the lanai with the mountains moving in and out of the clouds was the perfect way to get out of the rain. I can't wait to come back.

Perfect house for our family

We never used the tv, so didn't have any issues with sound, which it seems like other visitors have had with the neighbors. The neighbor did ask for us to turn off a porch light but she was perfectly nice about it.

1973 Beach Cottage Time Capsule

This property ended up becoming our home for 4 days and not just a place to sleep and plop our stuff into. The location can not be understated, the beach was 5 minutes in one direction and town was 5 minutes in the other. All you need and more is within walking distance. The property was incredibly clean and every drawer had exactly what you needed. There were plenty of towels provided and a larger main bathroom than I expected. There were also unexpected beach chairs, snorkel gear, and a beach umbrella provided in the laundry space. There was an overall sense of love and care to the space that was palpable. We can’t wait to come back. I can’t leave a review without mentioning that if you are needing a/c or a dishwasher they won’t be found here. This place is a true beach cottage from another time but that isn’t a downgrade.

Great place

Terrific location - just a short, 5-minute walk to the middle of Hanalei Bay beach.Very nice place, with much more character than a condo.Only problem was a rooster who started crowing before midnight and kept it up off and on for the rest of the night. I asked my son to get out of bed, go find it, and make us some rooster fricassee. But he wouldn't.This happened only one night out of 5. No idea why.

Great Location - Not a relaxing environment

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is lovely, in a typical Hawaiian style. It is in a great location in Hanalei - a couple blocks to the shops and the beach and has a very nice garden and deck area. The neighborhood is a bit of a challenge however owing to the complete lack of soundproofing. Quiet time is mentioned but this includes INSIDE the home too. Forget watching TV after dinner for which we were visited, yelled and swore at. I enjoyed a similar experience a couple days later (without the visit) for talking too loudly while doing the dishes at 8 20 in the evening.Bring a good book. Go to bed at 8pm. Talk to no-one for the remainder of the night and you'll be fine. It is a house I would have gladly returned to but NOT in the current environment - nor will I be encouraging friends and family to go.
