The house is in need of repairs: Upoer seems on screen porch is detached, kitchen cabinet door came off, microwave door handle is broken, one of the gas burners doesn’t work well, filter on refrigerator needs changing, very squeaky floors in master bedroom, toilet seat not secure, front doors are hard to close fully. “This house needs a new couch. The cushions were completely flat so you are sitting on hard base. The floors need to be mopped very badly. My 10 month old was black from dirt from crawling on the floor. The set temperature needs to be cooler than 80 at check in, in the summers. Yard needs to be maintained. Grill needs to be cleaned and fixed. Propane needs to be filled. The lamp would flicker anytime you sat or moved on the loveseat.”

“Our group had a great week at The Second Star. The house was very clean and you could tell the owner paid attention to detail. Our group ranged from ages 3-88 and the house worked for everyone. The young boys loved the “secret places” and the great grandmother was able to navigate the house easily. The pool was a big plus for our family who enjoys being outdoors.
