“The property is set in a very quiet and peaceful location with beautiful gardens. The owner clearly spends time and effort on the grounds however, we were disappointed by the lack of privacy in our room, it being directly adjacent to the breakfast room with all the accompanying intrusive noise.We were warned the previous evening by the proprietor that this was likely altho we did not realise it would be quite so loud. We were informed breakfast would be between 8-9am but the noise started at...

“We loved this little oasis. The owners have done an amazing job of creating a special place that has everything you need. We were driving from Taupo to Napier and stopped for the night. They have lawn tennis, a full spa, swimming pool and an amazing restaurant not to be missed. Don’t bother going back into Napier for dinner. Stay here. They have an incredible wine selection and it’s been one of the highlights of the trip so far. ”

“とっても素敵な宿でした！広すぎるほど広い部屋、ぶどう畑が目の前に広がり、隣の山には牛さん達が寝てて、羊やうさぎ、動物達がのどかに居ます。 オーナーさんがクリーニングやチェックインなどをしますが、また優しくて感じの良いおじさまでした！ 夜は星が綺麗です。 あと、朝食込みになってますが、オーナー曰く朝食サービスは初日のみという事です。初日に新鮮な卵、牛乳、ヨーグルト、ベーコン、パンなどが置いてあります。うちは野菜やフルーツをスーパーで補充して朝ごはんにしました！量的には２日もつ量でしたので野菜果物を補充したらかなり豪華ない朝ごはんになります。 こんな家に住みたいなと思う素敵な宿でした！ ”

“Interesting historic place. Pleasant place to relax and a great base for exploring the Hawke's Bay. Spent 3 nights there, service is good and the staff very helpful. Stayed in the "William Nelson Suite" and we could relax on the verandah or in the grounds with its historic trees.”

“We had a lovely stay at the Dome. The room was spacious and clean, also very quite. The Dome is in walking distance to cafés, hot pools, cocktail bar... which made our time there very enjoyable, my husband isn't able to walk a lot so the position was wonderful. Thankyou we will stay again .”
