“Good hotel for our short 2 night stay visiting relatives in the area. The management were very helpful and provided anything we asked for. We didn’t have dinner there so can’t comment on that aspect, but breakfast was first class and cooked freshly to order.”

“The house suited our needs, however the lounge was upstairs although on the plans it was on the ground floor and we had elderly parents who couldn’t climb the stairs. We arrived to overflowing bins which smelt very bad and they weren’t sorted until the following morning. The photographs are clearly out of date as the accommodation is tired and is used as a HMO.”

“Quiet room though we were on the ground floor and had no view. Staff very friendly and helpful. Dinner and breakfast were fine; the best onion bhajis of my life so they are THOROUGHLY recommended. We went in the sauna and the outdoor hot tub- that was amazing. All in all, a good stay and I would definitely return.”

“Avoid like the plague. This place is unfit to stay in. I had expectrd outdated and basic but what we got was filth, disrepair and no privacy due to the missing blinds in main areas. I took off the mattress protectors and would advise nobody sleep in those beds. Filthy, stained mattresses throughout. We left early and complained directly to the owners. Could not have cared less. I eventually got a full refund from Expedia, having pointed out breach of statutory rights and the owner's own...

“The house is very dated, the beds were uncomfortable, the rubbish bins outside were overflowing. The listing states a hot tub and the photos show that that’s what drew us to book but upon arrival there wasn’t one ! The staff on the phone were rude when they called to complain about our parking, we wasn’t even in at the time. They didn’t even ask if everything was ok with the stay. Would I recommend it no !”
