Very nice to be within walking distance of downtown (1 mile). Walk back is uphill but doable if you are in reasonable condition, or you could just order up an Uber. Property is an older home in an older established neighborhood that has a good feel. It’s a little quirky as many older homes can be, but everything you need is there. Bed was comfortable, kitchen complete, and living room spacious. It was pretty cool when we were there so we didn’t utilize the patio or covered porch, but those would be great in nice weather.

WONDERFUL!!! I can not say enough good things about this little cottage. My husband and I felt at home the minute we entered. This home is cozy and cute inside and out. The bed is very comfortable. The outdoor patio areas are peaceful and park-like. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. I felt quite secure walking my dog in the early mornings and late in the evenings. It was great being so close to the national park and the downtown area. So convenient. The listing is absolutely accurate. We would definitely stay here again! Rent without hesitation. You will be glad that you did!

The home is located in a beautiful location (we hated to leave but needed to), AND, guests must know that the home is built into a hillside and there is bare rock in the basement. Their was a recent rain and the basement was DAMP and MUSTY. If anyone in your group has respiratory conditions (like asthma) or an immunocompromised state, they need to know that it can get damp and musty! There is one continuously-running dehumidifier on a tall stand. There is no mention in the listing that the lower level can get damp. There is also a dehumidifier in the lower level bedroom (which is subterranean) that was full when we arrived. Our immunocompromised family member (who had just recovered from a one-month bout of pneumonia) began coughing immediately upon arrival - even when upstairs. His cough worsened within 30 minutes so we left. We stayed at the local hotel and his cough disappeared.

The house is gorgeous, the neighborhood is quiet, and the surrounding nature is so calming. Then right around the corner youre smack-dab is in the middle of downtown. I found the guest binder very helpful for sourcing some good food and local attractions. The hosts were veylry communicative and helpful when I had questions (this was my first VRBO). Also, being able to bring my dogs and enjoy everything with them was so special :)

This home is perfectly secluded but also extremely close to Bathhouse Row which made enjoying all that Hot Springs has to offer super easy. The house is older and has a few quirks, like some light switches don’t work and some things need updating (range hood, spa tub & shower head), but the owners have done an amazing job making it a comfortable and enjoyable home to be in. There are plenty of lamps, the bed was so comfortable and the private porch off the master bedroom was superb (like being in the park!). Please note that it’s a “climb” to get into the house and NOT handicap accessible. A steep walking incline with luggage is a workout and it can be slippery when wet. There’s parking for only 1 vehicle. Despite all these, we would definitely stay again).

This was a very clean and comfortable property with all needed accommodations. It was pet friendly with a fenced oudoor space for a small dog when needing to go outside. Tucked into a mountainside, we were able to see deer while enjoying the patio space. The owners were immediately responsive to all of my questions. A list of attractions and eating establishments was available in the home along with emergency numbers if needed. 10/10 would recommend, and hope to stay again in the future!

We enjoyed our stay at Lauren and Mike’s cottage, it was such a unique house built into a mountain. Very comfortable and clean and well equipped. Communication was easy. And well located with easy access to downtown, hiking trails and lakes. I would highly recommend staying there.

Ramble Drive

The house was nicely done and is surrounded by the Hot Springs National Forest . There is a trailhead less than a quarter mile from the house so we hiked with our dog in the morning and enjoyed the natural beauty in the area for the rest of the day. Loved the Garvan Botanical Garden and the Anthony Chapel

Hot Springs weekend

Owner was super responsive. Interior was nice and clean. Comfortable beds. Nice amenities. Overall a 5 star inside. Exterior could use some cleanup-lots of weeds and high grass. Patio and porch were not used but could have used a sweep with a leaf blower.

Weekend bliss

Wonderful stay at this property despite the weather. House has everything you need. Even had a latern light to use in case the power went out. We stayed cozy indoors listening to the rain fall and even saw deer in the front yard. This is our second time staying here and we will definitely be back.

The cottagewas in a great location but neighborhood was a little run down. Cottage was cute and clean. The bed wassuper comfortable. The shower was odd being in the big black tub. Also the lighting outside was very dim for the dogs.

STAY HERE!

What a quiet and lovely place! Even though it’s close and convenient to town, the location up on the mountain makes it peaceful. The bed in the bedroom is comfy, the bathroom is unique & beautiful, and the kitchen is well-equipped (you might even find a mug for your fave NFL team!). The outdoor seating area is covered, and the trees were filled with birds. Bonus? The basement area is so fun to explore! Communication with Lauren & Mike was fantastic - they send you so many recommendations in advance of your stay. If you’re staying in Hot Springs, stay here!!!
