Paddock and Paws on Barker: 3-4 blocks to Oaklawn,Majestic Park, & Downtown

  • We welcome guests to come enjoy our home and our love for the horse races, and our four legged friends and all of the beauty hot springs has to offer. Two bedroom remodeled 1920s cottage that is a few blocks from Oaklawn Racing and Casino. Walking distance to Bathhouse Row Downtown and the Farmers Market, along with great location for baseball and softball tournaments at Majestic Park (3 blocks away). In addition, our location can get you to the convention center quick for volleyball & basketball tournaments.

    Beautiful original hardwood floors. Updated kitchen has all the amenities you will want or need, along with traditonal coffee maker and a Keurig. Both bedrooms feature queen beds with their own ensuites and a queen sleeper will keep you comfortable along with 4 smart TVS a 65" inch picture tv in the lounge area as well as a 55" inch picture Tv in the living area with 40 inch tvs in each bedroom.
    Both bathrooms have been completely remodeled with custom tiled showers and one with a tub, along with new vanities. Laundry facility with washer and dryer. There are two living room/lounge areas one with a shuffleboard. There is an Outdoor area for entertaining with a fire pit with a rock patio, charcoal grill, and completely fenced in back yard that will be completed before the end of October. Parking for two vehicles in the driveway, driveway is shared but the driveway adjacent to the home will hold two larger vehicles. Pets care welcome with prior approval and non-refundable pet deposit.

This was a marvelous place to stay. The location was fantastic, it was pristine and clean, had so much more space than expected from the pictures. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This beautiful home was perfect for my sister’s bachelorette trip. Lots of space, super close to bathhouse row (Ubers were 5 back after the bar), and great hosts!!

This was an excellent home, very well appointed. The host provided everything, it was well stocked and she had excellent communication. Would definitely stay here again if I visit Hot Springs!

We had such a relaxing stay, my dog loved the fenced in yard. The property was clean and had more than enough amenities. Close to some great restaurants, quiet neighborhood.

Everything was great. Super cute place. Loved the pet friendliness. Good communication. Great location to the national park and we loved eating at The GOAT Mediterranean restaurant for a lil different scenery.

Great location to stay close to Bath House Row! The house was spacious, well-decorated, and homey. We brought our dog so the fenced in backyard was a huge plus. The hosts gave us great recommendations, including dog-friendly options! The shared driveway has plenty of room when host instructions are followed - there was enough space for our large truck and an SUV from the neighboring house. We highly recommend this stay!

Perfect accomodations for 2 couples with private bathroom with each bedroom. The house was well stocked with everything you would need and the shuffleboard was a fun addition. The location was a quick drive to Bathhouse Row and the Lake Hamilton area. The house was very clean. Would stay here again!

Pictures don’t do this place justice for how well adorable it is and they had a ton of small amenities that were so thoughtful. Fantastic value and super simple check in/out. Love that they have crates and bowls if you do bring a dog. Will absolutely book again if back in the area.

Paddock and Paws were just what we needed for a girls weekend. Nicely decorated and comfortable. Beautiful and roomy updated bathrooms! Lots of extras and close to everything! Hosts were easy to contact and quick to respond. We would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Beautiful, comfortable, super-clean 2-bedroom home, well-apportioned with adorable artwork, in a VERY good location, near the Casino/Racetrack and the charming historic downtown area of Hot Springs. We were not sure what to expect from the city, but the restaurants, pubs, classic architecture, and overall history of Hot Springs FAR exceeded our expectations. The Hosts were super accommodating, had excellent communication prior to and during our stay, and the check-in and check-out process and instructions were incredibly seamless. The house was a perfect size for two couples with two vehicles, and the back yard was just great for our two small dogs. We are already planning a return visit to Hot Springs and definitely hope to stay at "Paddock and Paws on Barker" again!

The house was perfect size, and very nice inside, it had everything that we could have ever needed. It was close to everything we would want to do. I left a pair of boots and reached out and the host and they have been extremely helpful with quick replies and steps on getting those back. I’d stay here every time I came to hot springs if it was available. 10/10 stay

Our stay at the Paddock and Paws were perfect. The street and neighborhood is very quiet and in a good location. It was perfect for two couples. Each bedroom has their own en-suite bathroom. We will definitely stay again. The owner was quick to answer questions Thursday before we checked in.
