Spacious

Plenty of room for our 3 families that made a trip for cheer competition. Not too far from convention center or other areas of town. Clean, easy to access.

Awesome Stay!

We had a great stay here for our getaway weekend! It was very private and right on the lake perfect for your boat and lake activities! Very clean and spacious! Definitely recommend!

Quick family trip

The house was better than the photos we were pleasantly surprised!! It was a little tricky to find but other than that it was fantastic! We rented a boat for the day and was able to pull right up to the house to have lunch! I would recommend this location!

Destination Wedding Weekend

12 Family members stayed at the house for my daughter’s wedding at Garvan Woodland Gardens Chapel with reception at Hot Springs Country Club. We had a great stay. Convenient location. Nice to be on the lake. Morning coffee and evening cocktail on the back porch overlooking Lake Hamilton can’t be beat. AC and all other amenities worked fine.

Lake Lover's Paradise

This was an amazing trip. We rented a pontoon from Hot Springs Marina (absolutely fantastic place) right up the way from the house. The dock was excellent. The view is fantastic from the HUGE deck. The kids loved fishing for brim off of the dock. The kitchen amenities were great. The beds were excellent. The location is perfect and central to ALL of the fun activities and amazing local restaurants. All together a wonderful vacation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Secluded Cove Lake House. The property is set back in a cove, and it is very quiet and serene location, on a beautiful part of the lake with open lake access to enjoy. My family and I had such a lovely time with a very short drive to all of the locations around Hot Springs. The house itself....Wow! What a lovely house, with plenty of room for my family and all of the amenities that you will read in the description. Wifi was great for those with kids and grand babies, parking was plentiful, and I can't brag enough about the covered deck area. We spend hours under the ceiling fans on the deck, enjoying the breeze off the lake. We swam on the lake, and also enjoyed the public beach area which was a short 5 minute drive away. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle.

Great place to make great memories

The property is gorgeous, the views even prettier! The kitchen was super nice to cook in and the entire home was decorated beautifully. The beds were super comfortable, the furniture in general was super comfortable, people kept falling asleep in the cozy chairs and couch! And the BATHROOMS!!!! SO NICE!!!!!! The dock was a really nice amenity as well it fit our pontoon nicely. Overall I’d give this place a 10/10.

Great landing place

Overall we loved this place! There were a few quirky things like a door you can’t go out, a wall socket that didn’t work, pocket door that didn’t lock, but those things were not deal breakers! The outdoor space is phenomenal for sitting outside as a group, cooking or spending time in the hot tub. The layout of the house is cozy but spacious and you can all be together or have your own space. The only thing we would really have liked to see would be a better stocked kitchen. It was like the kitchen supplies were things they picked up at garage sales and if you’re like us who planned to cook every meal we had to go spend $100 on pans and pots to get us through the weekend. We plan to be back!

Outdoor space a disappointment

There were several issues with our stay that sadly ultimately negatively impacted our stay. The house was short one queen bed which required someone to sleep on an air mattress which the property manager brought over but it was still not as comfortable. He apologized for not updating the listing but had we known ahead of time we would have booked another house. The outdoor furniture on the deck was filthy so we couldn’t enjoy sitting outside to see the lake the first day. Someone came over the second day but it was still pretty dirty after they cleaned it. One of the two showers on the main level didn’t drain at all and you had to shower in several inches of standing water. There were several other small things that were broken like outlets, curtains not on rings, no rug in the living room. Overall the property manager was responsive and tried to help when things were brought to his attention but unfortunately too many things were wrong that added up.

Exceptional Stay

We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful property, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a warm and welcoming host who had thought of every detail to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The property itself is a true gem. The moment we stepped inside, we were in awe of the stunning views that surrounded us. The house was impeccably clean and well-maintained, and the attention to detail was evident in every corner. The décor was tasteful, and the cozy, modern furnishings made us feel right at home. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the essentials and more. Cooking and dining were a breeze, and we loved the convenience of having everything we needed. We also appreciated the host's thoughtful touch of providing all necessary equipments. The outdoor facilities were a highlight of our stay. The property featured a well-kept garden, deck and dock with a variety of seating areas, perfect for relaxing with a book or enjoying a morning coffee while taking in the breathtaking secluded river views. The hot tub & grills were a fantastic addition. The host also provided us with an array of entertainment options, including a large-screen TV with access to streaming services in every room, especially in the master bath where we you can enjoy soaking in tub while watching something, there was always something for everyone. In summary, this place exceeded our expectations!

Hot Springs House for Eclipse viewing

The property was in a great location for viewing the eclipse and a very lovely home. The house was clean but not well stocked as described in the details of the house. The kitchen lacked enough items to accommodate 12 people (glasses, wine glasses etc), no sponges for washing dishes, no dish drainer, no pot holders, no frying pans, no large serving bowls and not enough chairs for the dining table to seat 12 people. The BBQ grill was dirty and no scrub brush to clean it and the electric start did not work. The patio furniture was dirty too. Most of the bedrooms were comfortable except one queen room had a saggy mattress, and the bedroom with the double sofa bed had no sheets or blankets. The blanket for the Murphy bed had stains on it. None of bathrooms had shower soap, some lacked towels and bath mats, one shower was slippery and did not drain well. I also found, upon arrival, a broken coffee table leg, a broken stair going downstairs, red stains on a wall and food left in the freezer. I have rented many houses through VRBO and I was surprised to find that the description in the listing did not match what I found.
