“We had a fantastic stay at SML and truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Even with several days of rain, we still had an amazing time thanks to the thoughtful design and setup of the house. The property was spotless when we arrived, everything was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The abundance of amenities made it feel like home (and then some), and we especially appreciated all the little details that showed how much care went into preparing the house for guests. “We came to Hudson Haven for our final summer send-off before school starts back up. We loved the home and the location. Extremely clean and the host was excellent with prompt responses to any questions I had. Highly recommend!!”

“There are no outside pictures which I would assume was intentional. This is a single wide trailer with an unkempt exterior on a piece of property cluttered with old cars and debris. The comforter in one room had stains all over it. There was no soap for showers . Which has been a given in all other properties I have stayed at.Old trailer but it was as clean as it could be. Living room does have cute furniture.”

“Amazing location, especially for the price. Clean, cozy, and a short walk to the river. Highly recommend and will hopefully be able to book again in future.”

“This property was perfect for our ladies from church. It was very comfortable, beautifully decorated, convenient to Lynchburg, spacious and the host was helpful and easy to communicate with. Chilled water and snacks were available. We very much enjoyed the stay and would book it again.”

“This was one of the cleanest rentals we have ever stayed in. And to boot it had everything you would need for the stay on the lake, including kayaks, paddle board and a hot tub to warm up in after a chilly day on the lake. Yep, we were there in the dead of summer but temps remained in the low 70’s and 80’s with misty rain. The weather was meh, but the location and time with family was fabulous! The host was very responsive and very thoughtful with a welcoming snore kit to enjoy by their fire pit....

“Beautiful home and terrific location!”

“This cottage was very cozy and clean. The description was spot on. The hosts were very helpful. We would definitely stay there again!”

“This was the best place I have ever stayed in. It was very clean! Very cozy! And it felt like home! Very nice and quiet! Customer service was excellent.”

“Great stay close to Roanoke and all the adventures in the areas.”

“This was a very unique and fun place to stay. Loved that it was pet friendly! Reasonably priced. Adorable theme throughout whole house. They laid a lot of attention to detail.”

“Cozy”

“Wonderful place and host! Clean, modern, well stocked, close to everything you need and LU. Annie was very helpful and quickly responsive. She was also flexible with our checkout time, which was a blessing to us. Thank you again!”

“Perfect little place to stay for the night between driving. Had all the essentials. In a good area too.”

“Spacious and clean property! Very communicative host and the house was easy to access upon arrival. Thank you for providing cleaning products, bathroom necessities and coffee pods. My only feedback would be to dust the fake plants in the primary bedroom downstairs. Easy to overlook but important for those with allergies.”

“This is actually my 2nd stay at their beautiful home. Location is perfect, it's right by everything! Overall smooth process and very clean. Provides plenty of kitchen and house essentials. I really enjoyed my stay.”

“Third time's a charm! Actually, each time has been charming. We enjoyed our stay...the cozy cottage and comfort of home. The convenient location adds to the list of positives. Will stay there again!”

“Missy communicated well. ”

“House was immaculate. Everything seemed new and clean. I appreciated the extra wide driveway that made it easy to get in and out. The home was very close to Liberty University and many dining options. Host communication was excellent.”
