Friday night and Saturday the noise coming from the restaurant till midnight make us impossible to rest and sleep , no wonder we found earplugs in room , we sincerely believe that we deserve a refund and an apology , the cleaning service was good but the above make our stay during Friday night and Saturday miserable ”

“Great location and very central to everything. A nice cafe on site with great food and really friendly staff. Our accommodation was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful and even though we didn’t have in-house housekeeping each day, they offered clean towels, pool towels, dishwashing liquid etc, so we never ran short. “We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the room with a card from Lane Retreat wishing our 10year old @Buckythefriendlypup a Happy Birthday and enjoy our wine country celebrations. The breakfast selections were excellent. Parking was convenient. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Pool was clean. We including the poochies enjoyed our stay!”

“We had the most amazing stay here in a 3 bedroom house. It was very large and great for entertaining as we also had some family staying at Peppers. Will be back again.”

“The room was beautiful. Mix of modern and rustic. Everything was clean and well maintained. We had towels changed over and our room tidied even though it was only a 2 night stay which was a surprise. We loved sitting on the balcony facing the vineyard and listening to the array of birds. Would love to stay here again for a future visit.”

“The hotel was a great stay for a few days, the owner Chris is a nice guy and very accommodating. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and tidy.”

“What a beautiful, intimate, quaint cottage and only 10 minutes from the vineyards. Helen was the most lovely host, very knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. It was so peaceful and it felt like we were stepping into a cottage in the rolling hills of England. We loved our stay, the lovely breakfast each morning and definitely will be returning in the cooler months to sit around the beautiful log fire with a bottle of the Hunter’s finest.”

“Beautiful, immaculately clean studio apartment. Comfy bed and handy kitchenette. Recommended.”
