“We absolutely loved our stay at The Orchard House Inn! It was lovely and full of charm and character. Just what one would expect from Freeport, Maine! Our room was very comfortable, charming, and welcoming. The shower was a bit small but adequate. We stayed in the "Downstairs King Bedroom" (we called it the Book Room) and the bed was so comfortable! It was our best night's sleep on the entire trip! “The property has been sold as of Jan 2026 and according to office staff, renovations are underway. My room was in good condition with the exception of the privacy blinds which were dusty and inoperable. I was otherwise satisfied with my room, but would have liked to have had a microwave. Staff was friendly and helpful. The amenities are great for families who want to have fun with their kids. Buildings need to be overhauled and hopefully the new owners will bring new life to the rooms. I would...
