“We are not strangers to the area, my wife having grown up in the area, but each time we stay on the Chesapeake we feel at home. The Hideaway is so nice that you don't want to go back your actual home! It is furnished as if it is a year-round residence, no cheap or mismatched furniture and appliances. We enjoy cooking and the kitchen is has everything you need and it works. The yard and amenities are top notch. If you enjoy bird watching, sit in the back yard and take in the bird activity...

“If you want to relax by the water and getaway from the hustle and bustle, this is the place. The cottage is updated and cozy with amazing views. Just step off the patio onto the sand. Cottage was stocked with essentials and extra goodies to make it feel like home.”

“It was only one bedroom since I travel with my daughter and out dogs , small bathroom the toilet did not flush properly it’s had to flush a few times! The bathroom floor was not done properly and flaking paint by the toilet ”

“This was one of the most beautiful spots I've seen. Kayaking was wonderful! Couch was very uncomfortable. And many maybe put off to find they must put everything in a box to keep away from rodents. And I just took my garbage home as we didn't have time to dump at an off site location on vacation. I would still book again as it was the most peaceful, charming and secluded place to truly relax!”

The view from both lower and upper decks are amazing! We spent lots of time on the decks even though it was cold - we just covered ourselves with blankets. “The A-frame cottage was clean and comfortable. I was accompanied by my son and two grandchildren (ages 12 and 14), and we really loved it. We went fishing in bay at the beach area below the cottage, and also did a lot of fossil hunting along the cliffs, which are breathtaking. Our host Teresa was extremely helpful and welcoming. We will definitely be going back!”
