“Everything about this property exceeded any expectation I had. The view- the land/rockscaping that takes you down to the river is just beautiful. The river is so close to the house the views are stunning every direction you look. There is a “patio” area that is literally on the river with comfortable furniture and is covered and dry even when it rained. The house is immaculate, clean and so comfortable. “We liked they notified us that our room was ready early. Also, we got a great room and loved getting a recliner chair and spacious bathroom. The grounds are spectacular, the views outstanding, the food and drink excellent and the staff friendly and genuine.”

“Made a reservation and pre paid for a king room. When we arrived they said the room we reserved wasn’t available so they gave us a double queen room. Reservation should reserve the room so it isn’t available to sell again!! Hall door didn’t work so had to use pool side door which didn’t lock. Housekeeper walked in on us in the morning because they thought we already left (you should still knock). And sweep the floor in the rooms!!”

House had everything we needed including toiletries and extra blankets. Visiting the state park nearby was a highlight. Did not care for the camera in the backyard that I could hear every time I walked by while playing bocci ball. Recommend taking food with since there are only two bars and a dollar general in town.
