“The stay was nice, but of course we picked this booking because of the indoor pool and it was closed the entire weekend. Very disappointed, and I had conversation with the owner days before arrival about the pool pass and he did not mention anything about the pool being closed. Also, there was and infestation of ants the first day … we found ant spray under the sink so this was probably a known issue… after spraying the whole place around windows and doors the first night the next morning...

“We had an absolutely wonderful time. It could not have been better! The cabin is beautiful and very clean. With charming decor and an up-to-date kitchen and bathroom, it feels like a home away from home. The location is also perfect. Coffee shop, ice cream shop, restaurants and a park are within walking distance. It’s a short drive to Petoskey and Charlevoix. We even took a drive up to Mackinaw City to visit the Dark Sky Park. “This was a nice place to stay with the family! We all had our own rooms and bathrooms so that was a plus! It was a quiet place and we enjoyed the paddle boat and kayaks and had a nice little fire by the water. We did have issues with connecting to WiFi and wasn’t able to get the TV to work but I wouldn’t say that was a bad thing. It made us enjoy each others company without electronics! The kitchen was not the cleanest. We had to wash all our dishes before using them. Beds were comfortable! ”

“We had a great stay at the log cabin. It was a perfect location, we brought fishing pedal kayaks that were perfect for traveling up and down the river between the lakes. The cabin is very cute, clean and equipped with everything you could need. The fireplace was nice too! We would highly recommend and plan to come back again. ”

“Cabin is immaculate, very well appointed, decor is just lovely....no deer heads on these walls! Comfortable beds, plenty of soft towels and extra pillows/blankets. Nice firepit right beside the river, saw the northern lights our first night! Larry is an excellent host! Stopped in to introduce himself and give a quick walk through of the cabin.
