The property was amazing. All amenities were above and beyond. The views spectacular, especially the sunsets! The hosts were exceptionally accommodating and gracious. Lots of extra chairs and beach equipment was available to use at the beach as well. We would recommend this place to all who venture to Kauai!

The house was perfect for our family of 10. The view from the top deck was amazing! Two refrigerators to hold plenty of food and drinks. Hosts were wonderful, any issues were resolved quickly and they gave us lots of info for places to go! If you're looking for someplace to hold a party of 10 highly recommend. Each bedroom has it's own bath which was great when everyone was getting ready to go out.

We had an excellent experience! Host was in contact with us an easy to communicate with. House was clean and well stocked. Extended family vacation for us and we had lots of space to gather together and private quiet space. Highly recommend!

HS Graduation Trip

The property was unbelievable- far exceeded our ecxpectations. The hosts were incredibly welcoming. The best VRBO experience we’ve had.

Large house with plenty of room for 10 adults to enjoy time together as well as alone. Evenings spent relaxing on the lanai watching spectacular sunsets over the ocean waves offered the perfect way to end our sun-soaked days. Patrick & Jules were exceptionally responsive & helpful during our stay. Would definitely stay at Hale La again.

We could not have found a better location for a 3 generation trip! The house was equipped with everything we needed for beach outings, cooking and generally relaxing! We lucked out with not only a lovely view of he ocean but we also saw lots of whales!Our hosts were readily available but not intrusive. We loved the beach updates of where seals and turtles could be seen!The proximity to uncrowded beaches was a definite plus and finding the coffee shop "Milk and Honey" within walking distance was a highlight that should not be missed.If we decide not to explore another island on our next trip to Hawaii, we will be returning to Hale La.

We loved everything about this place!

Beautiful sunsets, gorgeous view of the ocean, quiet location, plenty of room to spread out, comfortable environment, gracious and responsive host. The host family made sure we had everything we needed, and when asked, they provided great recommendations for restaurants and activities!

Beautiful house! Host was super helpful with recommendations for things to do in the area. Excellent communication from the host. House had everything we needed, even chairs and beach towels for the beach!

Perfect for 4 couples

Ample room for 4 couples, loved that we each had our own bathrooms. Gorgeous sunsets from lanai. Beaches just up the road, lots of hiking nearby in the canyon. This house was perfect for us.

Wonderful family vacation

Roomy comfortable house in great location on Kauai's south shore. And our hosts were very helpful in arranging a fantastic boat excusion to see the incredible Na Pali coast. We would be happy to return to this home.

Amazing home with incredible ocean views

This is an amazing home to stay in with a group of people. The porch looks right out over the ocean. Perfect for any time of day!! Don't think about it anymore and just book your vacation here.

Great house!

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The house was spacious with beautiful ocean views from the upstairs deck. The hosts were very kind and easy to communicate with. They answered our questions via text and offered many good suggestions for things to do nearby.

Wonderful Family Vacation Spot!

We absolutely loved this vacation home! The view of the ocean from the deck was beautiful and we ate out there everyday. The kitchen was well-stocked. The home was clean and spacious. The owners were super responsive to all our communications. We would highly recommend this location!

The house was gorgeous! We had our 3 daughters and spouses and 2 grandsons. Everyone was happy with the house! The owners are wonderful people! Hated to leave!

First trip to Kauai Family of 8

We enjoyed our stay very much. We chose the west side of the island because we knew we wanted to enjoy sunny beaches. The weather was perfect during our stay! The home was spacious and beds were very comfortable. Hosts were wonderful about communicating and checking in with us. The view from our lanai was everyone’s favorite!

Perfect getaway

Jules was so kind to welcome us and give us so many local tips, full of aloha!! We loved the location, close to Waimea Canyon, small towns, uncrowded beaches, incredible view from the lanai. The bedrooms were perfect for multiple generations, plenty of space, bathrooms, big kitchen, beautiful grounds, “happy hour” around the grill/bar, beach gear to borrow was much appreciated. Just perfect!

50th birthday

The house was amazing! We had a group of eight adults, and there was still room for children if necessary. The owners were awesome and I can’t thank them enough for our stay. The Ocean View and patio was just perfect for us. We preferred a desolate side of the island, and this was great. Thank you for our stay, we will be back!
