  • This air conditioned two bedroom two bath oceanfront unit is on the second floor of Kuhio Shores condominium located in sunny Poipu, Kauai. Fronting a sandy bay this complex has as an elevator and offers some of the best surfing, body-boarding, swimming and snorkeling available in Poipu. The interior of this unit is decorated with comfortable island living in mind and includes a Queen, two twins along with wireless high-speed Internet access to make your stay as comfortable as possible. With your private veranda, you can watch the sunrise while sipping your morning coffee, spend the day watching the surf or even looking for turtles or whales offshore, or even take in our spectacular sunset while sipping on your favorite evening cocktail. Having great restaurants and sandy beaches within a few minutes’ walk, plus the comfort, location, and price, this Kauai vacation rental is a great deal for any group or family looking to experience Kauai at its best.

    Washer and dryer are located by the elevator and is shared with other guests on the 2nd floor. It is coin operated and guests are responsible for laundry charges.

    This property includes beach chairs, beach towels, a cooler and umbrella. Please feel free to call us if any of these items are missing during your stay.

A slice of paradise

We enjoyed our stay at Kuhio Shores! The place was clean, the kitchen had everything I needed, and it was such a bonus to have beach equipment (chairs, umbrella, towels, etc). And of course, the view is to DIE for. I’d def stay again!

Retirement Ladies Celebration

We all recently retired and chose to celebrate on the lovely island of Kauai. The unit was close to another we rented. It was lovely.

Great unit in perfect location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Incredible views

Lovely condo with a fantastic front row view of blue ocean, sea turtles, tropical fish and skilled surfers! Well equipped kitchen, comfy living room seating and two bedrooms each with its own bathroom. Very happy with our stay.

Amazing Location - Cute Condo!

This location is unbeatable! Right on the water. The condo was great. It was decorated nicely with a cute, beachy vibe. It was clean and provided just about everything that you could possibly need. I will definitely stay here again! management was great and very responsive.

This was a beautiful place to stay very convenient location, you can also see turtles swimming on the balcony. My only complaint is you can hear everything upstairs. We tried to message the host and never got a response back.

AMAZING View

We really enjoyed our stay. The view from this unit is breathtaking. Loved the sound of crashing waves. Very nicely updated and modern. The condo complex is right next to The Beach House restaurant also known for their views if that tells you anything.

Beautiful breathe taking views

We LOVED the balcony- Roomy enough for 4-6 people to drink wine and enjoy the views. You fall asleep to the sounds of the ocean.

Amazing place

We love Kuhio Shores. We have stayed in multiple different units in this building and they are all spectacular. Unit is well stocked, views are amazing, and located close to everything. Some of the best snorkeling right outside the building. We will be back.

Fantastic!

Wife and I loved staying here from the moment we walked in. Views, unit, location all are fantastic. The 2nd bathroom was not operable due to waiting on parts but not noticeable. Outdoor wall blocked our sunset view from the lanai, but you can easily walk to the common area to enjoy. Overall, great place to stay and would stay again in a heartbeat.

Best location in Poipu

Best views on the beach! We loved sitting on balcony watching the surfers and turtles. The condo was very comfortable. I sleep with a fan at home so added bonus was when we had fans in our closet. The AC kept condo cool. We will definitely be back!

Perfect location.

Unit is well kept. Manager is very responsive. You can see turtles playing in the water right from the balcony. If you surf, that is also right there. This was our second time at Kuhio Shores. We'll be back.

Spectacular view that takes your breath away!

This property is beyond what the pictures display! The view from outside the balcony is absolutely breathtaking! Our jaws dropped when first walking in and the location was also perfect! Every detail was thought of and were supplied with everything you may need and then some. Thank you for hosting and making our family’s first visit to Kauai so memorable! We can’t wait to come back!

Stunning View

This condo -- particularly the living room and balcony -- was magical. All you see is ocean when you walk in. We spent many happy hours just staring at the ocean and spotting sea turtles. The bedrooms were basic, but that's fine. It's all about the view.

Spectacular ocean view

The location is perfect! The view from the balcony is outstanding! All you need are the groceries you’re going eat. The only drawback for us was the fact that there isn’t a breezeway from the back of the building to the front. There is a beach access all the way at the end…just a little inconvenient. Even with that being said said, we rate this property a 5! It was just perfect for us.

Amazing view

Cant get a better view. Condo could use some general minor upkeep as toilet was broken for a bit but they got it fixed shortly and communication was good. Had lots of books, games, comfy furniture, etc... pretty quiet location as well and close to sites, hikes and beaches
