  • Our luxury 1-bd 2-ba Shipwrecks Beach Penthouse, with heated resort pool, is meticulously cleaned, and is the Perfect Honeymoon Retreat. The Penthouse overlooks Shipwrecks Beach and its famous surf spots, 50 feet to the Pacific and 50 yards to Shipwrecks Beach and the Grand Hyatt here on the south shore of Kauai. Our private, spacious single-story beachfront penthouse features the lovely living, dining and custom kitchen area and comfortable furnishings.

    NEW: AIR CONDITIONING IN OCEANFRONT BEDROOM

    Our oceanfront bedroom suite is complete with a king bed, fine linens, air conditioning, and a full bathroom with a custom tiled walk-in shower.

    Our expansive beachfront deck (lanai) is perfect for private dining, sunning, reading and star gazing.  Imagine the soothing sound of the surf 24-7. And, our Penthouse is complete with the all-important second full bath for your convenience.

    What I love about this stunning property is its spectacular views and the constant soothing sound of the surf which creates the privacy every couple craves.  I imagine sitting with my coffee every morning mesmerized by the surf, never wanting to move.  

    The short stroll to Shipwrecks Beach, a fun body boarding and surf spot, and the Grand Hyatt, and its restaurants and Anara Spa treatments, is a definite bonus.

    Our private Shipwrecks Beach Penthouse is located on the top floor of the only, coveted three-story beachfront building of a small luxury oceanfront residential complex. Therefore you will enjoy access to its gated heated swimming pool, or not.  It's up to you.  The resort pool is located at the far end of the property so it will not disturb you in any way.

    HDTV/DVD/WIFI/Tel included.   A Weber gas BBQ grill is located at the resort pool area.


    NOTE: Self check in instructions will be sent via this messaging system 24 hours prior to arrival.

    Check in is after 3pm. Check out is before 11 am. These times are firm.

The location simply can't be beat! Adjacent to the Grand Hyatt and Shipwreck beach which provide spectacular views from the lanai. We enjoyed the sunrise each morning and felt extremely grateful for finding such a gem. We highly recommend this experience for anyone looking for relaxation in paradise.

Everything about condo was as described. Overlooked Shipwreck Beach and the lovely grounds of the Grand Hyatt resort. Beautiful setting for sure! Lovely Poipu beach is just down the road with plenty of sunbathing turtles and a monk seal on one of the days. Little Fish Coffee also just down the road is great place for coffee and an açaí bowl.

Wonderful

Totally loved our stay here! A beautiful setting, beautiful views out on the private lanai, wonderful sounds, and a great place to stay! Just keep in mind it is up 3 flights of stairs, but that was not an issue at all for us! Would absolutely stay here again!

It was such a beautiful view and so close to the ocean that we felt like we were right on the beach.

Close to Popui shopping village with nice restaurants and souvenirs. The property host was very responsive to our needs. So fun. We hope to come again.

Can’t Wait to Come Back!

We loved our stay! The condo was lovely and perfect for our needs. Couldn’t have asked for a better location and we so appreciated the beach chairs and mat for our use. Do note that the kitchen has all of the appliances, cookware, plates, etc, but there are no seasonings (including salt and pepper) or cooking oils so grab some at the Safeway on your way in if you intend to cook!

This place has everything you want in a Kauai condo especially the oceanfront view with a huge lanai. Everything you need from the kitchen utensils to beach chairs and towels. If you are considering any other place and this is available you are missing out.

Great view, great location

The lanai with the view was amazing. We had a perfect view of the sunrise everyday as we woke up. Great location right next to the Hyatt and their pool, not far from shopping, restaurants and activities, but still removed from everything and peaceful.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay! The lanai was a perfect place for morning coffee and evening cocktails! I have to say, I miss the sounds of the ocean and the amazing breeze. The kitchen was well equipped for what we needed. It was quite easy to settle in our "home away from home" for 10 days. The three flights of stairs were as others mentioned, something to be noted. Beach chairs and umbrellas were provided, but only two beach towels. You may want to pack more if that's a concern for you. Would definitely stay here again Truly a little piece of paradise!

Perfect Vow Renewal Location

This was our third stay at Poipu and first at the Poipu Sands condos, this was such a great location for enjoying the southern shore, access to Waimea Canyon, shoreline hikes and restaurants. The condo was perfect for our stay, clean, spacious, tastefully decorated, and convenient to Shipwreck rock and beach. 5 Stars!

Perfect Location on Kauai

Tenth visit to Kauai and Shipwreck beach is the perfect south side location. This property was perfectly located. The balconies were private. Very convenient access to everything, most importantly the beach. I think I'll go ahead and book for next year.

We loved this place.. Large Lani, relaxing, walking path, central to everything.. Lori was easy to work with and informative. Everything is top of the line and comfortable. The view is better than the pictures.. It couldn't get any better than this.... We are coming back if it isn't rented...

Better than advertised.

Don’t worry about no AC, you won’t need it. The ocean breezes are perfect. House is set up well and has everything you need. Will be going back.
