We really enjoyed the condo and the location! Host provided all the details we needed and more. The condo was very clean and only a 5-minute walk to the beach. Wish we had checked the closet before renting some beach stuff!

Living room furniture was somewhat uncomfortable. Needed replacement. Dishwasher was defective, soap compartment inoperative. Porch light was burnt out.Bed was comfortable. Condo was clean. Good beach articles. Overall, really a nice stay.

Clean condo. Check-in seemless. It is as advertised. Cost effective for us, due to access to Beach Club across street. Just know that beach access is not that close, although you can get in car and park nearer to beach; which is quicker. Also, you’ll need to rent beach chairs and umbrella down at beach. They’re open 8 am to 5:30 pm. Poipu Beach is nearby, my favorite beach in the world.

Beautiful breezy location

The condo was in such a beautiful serene location. We specifically looked for condo units with AC but didn’t even turn it on there because the crossflow breeze was so nice when all the windows were opened plus we could hear the rain when it rained. We did have to wear ear plugs to sleep though just to block out the roosters that can be loud but still not enough to make me close the windows. The screen door on the back patio slips off the track when you open it and sticks but we just tried to not open it all the way. The location to the beach is perfect and walking to the shops every morning with our coffee was great. The pool was nice but it isn’t on property and you do need to walk across the street or drive across to get there. It was great having full kitchen amenities to make meals. The decor was beautifully renovated compared to other listings I saw at same location. The only complaint I do have is the bed in the room is very uncomfortable, my back and hips were hurting every morning. A plush mattress topper would be an easy fix and would make a world of difference. The sleeper sofa thankfully had one so my kids didn’t complain about sleeping in it like they not normally would. Overall though, I would definitely recommend this condo and would consider this unit again.

Wonderful Stay

The property is exactly as described. It is great location, close to beach & restaurants. The access to pool/gym facility across the street with restaurant/bar is very nice. Would stay again if in the area.

Great time

This place was perfect!! Loved the interior, the lanai patio was beautiful and peaceful, it was a great location super close to Poipu Beach Park. The management was really really responsive, great communication. Would love to return here!!

Great Location in Poipu

The property was spacious and well equipped. If you stay here, plan to buy paper towels, kleenex and napkins if you use them. Extra TP too. This property does not have beach view but two wonderful beaches are within easy walking or driving distance. If you enjoy nice dinners, there several options but make reservations before you come to the island. The AC is awesome!

Amazing spot!

Just a 5 minute walk to a variety of beautiful beaches, this place was truly magical! Had all the essential items we needed to get through the trip; including a kitchen to make some meals at home. Very friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely be back to beautiful Kaua’i!

Nice condo for Anniversary

Nice, quaint condo for the two of us. Air conditioning was a big plus even though it was February. Bed was comfortable and having a kitchen was great. Could have used a deep clean before we arrived (dusty dishes, second set of towels were not clean, floors needed to be mopped) but nothing we couldn't handle. Location is a short walk to the beach which was not an issue since it was just the two of us. Might be a little less convenient if you bring small kids. Laundry facility was close. Plenty of parking.

Kiahuna Plantation Bldg 41 Poipu

The condo was in a good refurbished condition. However, the condition of the dishes, glasses and tableware was pathetic, you can find better at Goodwill. I was surprised with all the road noise. The proximity of the building to the road was never mentioned and had I known about the traffic, I would have selected another listing.

Clean, modern, good AC, terrible maintenance and reservation service

Great cleaning, modern facility, really appreciate the AC. Bad maintenance: stove vent has clogged filter, balcony door is super hard, even for an adult guy to open. Probably a fire code violation. We had to cancel our earlier reservation with a different company because of COVID. After recovery I then mistakenly connected with kauaireg.com (Princeville). Believing I was reserving with the original company, I explained that we had recovered from COVID and requested the the substantial discount offered for rebooking. Princeville didn't inform me that I had called a different booking agency, billed for the stay and refused a refund when I discovered their deceit. Watch out for these folks!

Wonderful experience

We stayed August 2022 and the proposer was wonderful. Great location, clean, access to the nearby athletic club was really great for our whole family (fun pool, sports courts, gym, nice cabanas, poolside food/drink service). We were met at the airport with keys & reservation materials. The room stayed cool throughout our trip (high 80s- los 90s outside) which was much appreciated. Walking distance to poipu beach, brennekes, coffee, multiple shops & restaurants.

Great little 1BR Condo

The condo is great for a 1BR. Clean, nicely renovated and the Kiahuna Plantation (the larger complex its part of) is fantastic. My only complaint is the location of the unit. It's as far from the beach as any unit in the complex, so we ended up mostly driving and parking at the beach.

Amazing!!

Great location! Walking distance to 2 beaches with amazing snorkeling and waves for boogie boarding. The Poipu Beach Athletic Club was an added bonus. Great pool and hot tub, as well at The Cabana restaurant. We will be back!

Every bit as nice as we anticipated.

Only one flight of steps, up; with a wonderful view of the trees, outback; and it was like having a private park just off of the deck. Yes, the roosters take some getting use to; but, the roosters are everywhere on the island, literally. Nice, central location on the Island and lots of amenities close by. Just wish we'd stayed for a few more days; so, much to see. We enjoyed the McBryde and Allerton Gardens just around the corner, literally; especially, the sunset dinner tour. For us, a week was not enough. We arrived after dark; so, this property’s manager met us at the airport with our key cards; thank you! If you arrive, after dark, and haven't been to the island, before, be sure to download Google Maps on your Smart Phone because the roads between the airport and the Kiahuna Plantation Resort are very dark (street lights on the rural roads are few and far between) and would have been intimidating without Google Maps (or equivalent). The route, during daylight hours, no problem, though. Oh, and we had a torrential downpour, that night, too. Ouch! Rain is part and parcel to a stay in Kauai; so, bring an umbrella or two. Planning our next visit, already!
