Beautiful home exactly as it is pictured I'm the listing. Well maintained. Has all the necessities in the kitchen for making meals and entertaining. Host is very responsive and helpful. Great location on the beach and within a mile of restaurants and entertainment.

Our stay was excellent. The house was clean and spacious. The view was exceptional. The pool was delightful. Each morning we woke up to chairs and umbrellas being set up on the shore for us to enjoy. I loved the kitchen which was open and contained everything we needed. And I loved having a laundry on the two top floors; that was very convenient.I think we spent most of our time enjoying the decks overlooking the pool and ocean.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful Kure Beach home! Our large family group of 12 adults and 9 kids fit perfectly, and the house never felt crowded. The layout was ideal for a big group, with plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, and spacious common area where everyone could gather comfortably.The kitchen was well-stocked and made cooking for a crowd so easy, and we loved having a large oversized dining space to enjoy meals together. The kids especially loved the rooms, pool and ping pong table, while the adults enjoyed the decks with ocean views and space to relax.The location couldn’t be better—just steps from the beach, so it was easy to go back and forth with the kids throughout the day. We also appreciated how clean and well-maintained everything was upon arrival, and the host was responsive and helpful throughout our stay.This home gave us the perfect backdrop for making family memories—whether it was morning coffee watching the sunrise, beach days full of fun, or evenings gathered together. We highly recommend this property for any large family or group looking for a perfect beach getaway.

Perfect for Families

We had a wonderful stay at Dolphin Watch with our family of 16 ranging in age from 7 to 85 years old. The elevator was nice for my elderly parents. The pool and location on the beach were perfect with the high temps last week. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was fully stocked, and plenty of nice restaurants nearby. Jim, the owner, could not have been easier to work with and was quick to respond to texts. He even provided chair/umbrella set-up on the beach daily for us. Highly recommend booking this property.

First time in Kure Beach!

We vacation every other year with our children, grandchildren and extended family. We had a large group ranging from 3-62! It was a full house, yet we didn’t feel on top of one another. Plenty of spaces to separate. The house was clean, very well stocked with kitchen equipment and a had generous supply of paper towels, dishwasher and dish detergents. The bathrooms were also well stocked. Plenty of eating space for large groups. Our son even made his famous homemade meatballs, pasta (brought his own pasta board) and sauce for the whole group! The oceanfront views were stunning, especially from the two oceanfront bedrooms on the third floor! We are already missing the porch swing on the second floor deck! Plenty of outside seating on the decks and at the pool. The 3 beach umbrellas and 6 chairs set up every am was a much appreciated surprise! Plenty of parking space out front as well! We had 6 vehicles easily parked in the driveway.Jim was great to communicate with, responding timely with and any questions or concerns. We were also pleasantly surprised with Kure Beach. Much quieter and laid back atmosphere than we are used to which we really enjoyed. There is more activity just down the road in Carolina Beach. Close to Wilmington, and also Southport via the ferry. Would definitely recommend Kure Beach and Dolphin Watch!

Celebrating Moms 90th Birthday

Mr.Kitts was so considerate and his home is absolutely stunning! It was even nicer than the advertised pictures due to recent updates. He checked on us to see if we had everything to make our time enjoyable. This home and location is so well equipped and the sunrises were simply amazing! Would definitely put this property at the top of my list for future stays!

Our Week at the Beach

Our family of 11 (9 adults, 2 kids) had an awesome, week long stay at the Dolphin Watch. Jim went above and beyond to make our vacation enjoyable and stress free. A few things I’d like to note; the kitchen was very well stocked, the toiletries provided were great and the place was clean. As an unexpected bonus, Jim had beach chairs and umbrellas set up for us each day!! Jim arranged for us to have an early check in and personally went back to the house to search for and mail items we left behind after checkout. We were very impressed and would love to stay there again!

Peaceful stay in a beautiful location!

Even though the weather didn't cooperate, the place was so beautiful inside that we still had a wonderful family stay. Great communication and comfortable stay with our extended family. Kids loved the pool and access to the beach. Would definitely book again!

Fantastic stay!

We had a group of family members with us for a week ranging in age from 9 to 71. The accommodations were top notch. Wonderful to have the pool and beach right out our door. PLENTY of room, even when we hosted a BBQ dinner for a total of 21 people. The kitchen and seating are expansive and the kitchen well stock with all the pots/pans/dishes/appliances you need. The bedrooms are great and wonderful listening to the waves literally all night from the oceanside rooms. Bathrooms were great size. The elevator was great for moving things in and out. Our host, Jim, was incredible! He was right back to me with any questions. Great location being not far from Fort Fisher Park and the aquarium. You are out of the hustle bustle but close to everything. The pool was perfect and maintain by a pool man I think twice during the week. Hot tub was an added benefit. Having three floors was great. Young kids had bedrooms on the first level and the "old people" were on the third floor, nice and quiet. We would return without hesitation. You really can't beat it.

Tennis Ladies

My ladies tennis team had a wonderful stay at this property. The house was clean, large enough to easily accommodate 15 people, and was in a great location. The host communicated with me throughout our stay and was helpful when we needed extra space for parking. We also loved that so many bedrooms and the main living space had spectacular ocean views. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this property to others.

This is your next vacation rental - you can stop looking

Stop! Stop scrolling, stop looking for your vacation home – you’ve FOUND IT!! This home is everything you could ever want in a vacation experience. Just steps & I mean steps from your private beach access you are on the sand. It’s so close to the gorgeous water that when you look out the windows you feel like you’re on a cruise ship. Your unobstructed view provides stunning vistas. The pictures are true to the home. The kitchen is open & perfect for family gatherings as it opens to the living room. Plus the bedrooms are expansive & beautifully appointed. The diff. bed types allow for various sleeping arrangements. The views on the beach side of the house are breathtaking. There are also washers & dryers on the 2nd & 3rd floors. The heated pool is fabulous. We went in Oct and it was delightful to take a dip in the afternoon and not be struck by freezing cold water. The pool is a perfect size and the very short beach access ramp is right there. Have no fear about the little ones – there are gates. Then the hot tub! So great to take a soak and gaze out over the water. There are also several beach chairs, toys and other fun stuff provided. There is a additional large fridge in one of the garages. The elevator is such a great feature. Not only to bring in your luggage/groceries but in case you have some people with mobility challenges. This house was so wonderful that we never left. We enjoyed the beach, the stunning views, the pool, the hot tub, and the board games. All fantast

Great for work retreat!

Fantastic location, right on the beach with gorgeous views through large windows. Great for watching the sunrise. Was very happy with the abundance of seating and extra large dining table which was perfect for meals and discussions during our retreat. Beds were comfortable and hearing the surf added soothing white noise to help with sleep! Jim was very responsive and helped with a special request that worked out perfectly. Highly recommend!
