We very much enjoyed the house and our stay - no real complaints - just a few very minor things that could have improved our experience - The house number is very hard to see at night it is in an odd location - consider labeling some of the many light switched and the garbage disposal button - the floor could use a good cleaning - it certainly was swept but likely not mopped recently - our feet got dirty when we walked around the house barefoot. The shower curtain needs to be about 1-2 inches longer to keep water in the shower - maybe some longer hooks? - like I said - very minor things - we really enjoyed our time here and would stay again.

wonderful visit!

My daughter and I loved this house and the convenient location. Our dogs loved the nice back yard. The house was VERY well equipped, clean, charming and an incredibly short walk to the beach, a convenience store (great coffee!), shopping and restaurants. The air conditioner in the side room broke and the Keurig broke but otherwise it was great. I would recommend 100%!

I almost don’t want to tell people how good it is to stay here so it wont be booked all the time but here it is- Location, location, location! 3 short blocks ( 3 minute walk) from the beach restaurants, Kure fishing pier, located in a quiet residential area. Pictures online and description are accurate. Check in was a breeze- the rental mgr communicated in advance regarding check in codes, and what is expected on departure day. Kitchen is well-equipped, even has a crockpot, keurig. Dishwasher, washing machine and dryer on site were a Godsend! Clean house, did not need to use 2nd bedroom but really nice to have to place beach gear suitcases, etc. Fenced i yard was very much appreciated for our 2 doggies. We felt really safe and relaxed staying here. We will definitely book with this rental mgr again!

Literal Perfect Place to Stay at the Beach

At just a couple blocks away from ANYTHING you could want in Kure Beach, this was the perfect place to stay. We walked to the pier, beach access, a number of local restaurants, the arcade...not to mention, having a 2 & 3 year old with us, it was equidistant the other direction to the playground (and pickleball courts!) The home itself is exactly what you need if traveling with family and a dog(s). Fenced in back yard was wonderful, well kept, and perfect for kiddos and pups to run around. Kitchen and appliances are top notch. Beds were comfortable. Definitely feel like we got our money's worth during our stay. Will be back again!

Great beach vacation!

Thanks so much, we had a great time! House was clean & close to everything! Boys had a great time fishing off the pier everyday. The fenced in back yard was great for our puppy. Would definitely recommend this property!

Had a great time!

We’ve stayed in another house previously and we were sad to see that it was not available for our trip this year. We went with this house instead and were very happy! The house was perfect for our family. The dog loved having the back yard to run around. Checking in was easy, and the realty company was easy to communicate with. The home was clean and the beds were comfortable. Even though it is a smaller house, it had a second bathroom which was a nice bonus. The house was close to everything and there are several food options nearby. We had a great visit and would look at this home again next time we are at Kure Beach!

Loved the location of the house exactly what we were looking for as far as privacy and close distance to the pier. House was the perfect size for our family. Our elderly dog enjoyed sunning in the fenced in back yard. I would definitely book this house again.

Great stay! Close to everything in Kure

We enjoyed our stay here very much! It was clean and comfortable. The fenced in backyard was wonderful for our dog. The kitchen is nicely updated and well-equipped. The walk to the beach is quick. Restaurants are right around the corner and the aquarium is just a few miles away. We would rent here again!

Real nice and easy!

This home was perfect for our small family’s trip and just as advertised. The backyard was pleasant and nicely maintained. Location to the beach and Kure Beach Pier is fantastic. I was surprised how extensive the available kitchen wares were, too!

This was our second stay at this house, unfortunately not as good as the first! It was nasty, the smell of urine was evident, it was like the place got a once over and done! Nasty underneath the furniture like it was never moved, ever! You shouldn't have to come on vacation and spend money on Febreeze and candles and cleaning supplies to get it bearable.....did i mention the dog hair? ugh!

We had a great time at this sweet little house. The location is perfect 4 min walk to the beach or pier. The fenced in yard is a great bonus when brining along your pets. The house was clean, updated and very welcoming.

Perfect Stay

The cottage was as promised: clean, well-stocked, tasteful decor without being too kitschy. The walk to the beach was easy although I chose to drive and park at a beach access a bit farther from the pier. The backyard was safe/secure and I was able to let my pup to have outdoor time. As a note there is one gap in the back of the shed that allows a smaller dog to crawl under. The main bathroom is pretty tight, however the 2nd bath/shower in the closed sunroom was larger. Maybe a bit of attention to the shower heads in both are in order. I brought a ton of stuff for a 6night stay and I could have left it at home. Linens were good quality and the kitchen has everything!! I have to say the neighbors and folks at the pier, coffee shop, hardware store, etc. were super friendly. I really enjoyed the house and Kure beach for the 5th annual beach vacation.

This home provided everything that was listed and more. The house was very clean and had all the little extras that you sometimes forget. It was within a very short walking distance to the pier and restaurant's. Had a great time with my family and highly recommended!

This property was PERFECT for us. It had everything we needed and more from cookware to the little things that you wouldn't even think about bringing. The shed in the back has a beach wagon, a kiddie pool that my kids loved to play in with a bunch of beach toys that we took to the beach. Nice setting area outside. The owners even left us dryer sheets and pods to do our laundry. The inside was very cozy and extremely nice and clean. It felt like home to us. It's within walking distance of the pier and the oceanfront park, so we didn't even have to drive anywhere. It has an outside shower, so when you come back from the beach you can rinse off before you go into the house. We will definitely be renting this again the next time we vacation at the beach.

Pictures are deceiving

The “front door” was the sliding glass door that didn’t open or close properly. Maintenance had to come out and fix it. The refrigerator had a constant puddle coming out of the bottom of it. The air conditioning unit leaked from the condensation and made a puddle on the floor. Mattresses are awful.
