Esta casa de vacaciones para toda la familia de Kure Beach se encuentra junto al mar, a 5 minutos a pie de Área recreativa estatal de Fort Fisher y Kure Beach. Coquina Outcrop y Centro histórico del estado de Fort Fisher también se encuentran a 10 minutos.

This house is in an excellent location - right across the street from the beach access. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. I gave cleaning a 4 star because when we checked in there were several large dead roaches in the downstairs rooms. However, we only saw a few small live ones after that. Also, the downstairs bedroom bathroom floor had some sand on it. A few minor issues in the house - the downstairs master bathroom had no towel racks so no place to hang wet towels or swimsuits. The outside gas grill - only 1 burner lit. So minor issues - otherwise a great house. We loved it. We had an issue with the washing machine. We reached out to the rental company so they are aware of it. Hopefully they will get it fixed or replaced.

Fun family retreat

We really loved the proximity to the beach access path and the beach. It was a bonus to be able to see the ocean from the front porch. It was great to have our own pool. The children spent many hours in there. We appreciated the pool towels. Especially liked the floor plan of the kitchen and living room. Very open and family friendly. We did all of our eating there and never went out. Parking is good. We were 6 adults and 4 children and it was just the right amount of room with plenty of bathrooms. Great communication with the property owner.

Family Vacay

House was perfect for what we needed. Had all of the essentials you could ask for. Pool was perfect for the not so great weather days. Amazing location. Super quiet and relaxing!

Not what it’s made out to be

The house was filthy, with mold growing in shower curtains and lipstick stains on most glasses in the cabinet. The rental agency reminded us at every turn that they were a “family run business,” which seemed to be their excuse for anything from over-charging for pet fees beyond what was listed, missing items in the house, the level of filth, and the non-working arcade game supposedly being for “decorative purposes only.” The house does not have arcade games. It has one. Bugs came out everywhere and the rental agency tried to frame that as normal by putting a sign on the refrigerator that cockroaches were ok. This house is not worth the price and the rental agency, who offers gift card bribes for positive reviews, only made it worse. Their emails were long, confusing, and most often not tailored to the amenities of a specific property, which required follow up on renter’s part to clarify. Writing clear, property specific emails, having attention to detail, cleaning the house, and adjusting the listing to accurately reflect the property features instead of what the property aspires to be would be important improvements.

Beautiful home

This rental home was perfect. Across the street from the beach, very clean, comfortable and spacious. Having a private pool was really nice especially with a two year old.

First and last visit

I’ll be brief: it’s gross. Cockroaches in the bathrooms, standing water in the shower, flies that bite you by the pool. Sand in the sheets joins arrival, dirty pool, cardboard on the floor. Grill area is run down. Just not well loved. Not worth the money and absolutely won’t be staying with ITrip again.

The Cullums

We loved the pool and the outdoor kitchen/recreational area was perfect for our family! This was our first time to Kure Beach and we enjoyed it. We wish we could have had more of an ocean view—It was just a small glimpse from the house front porch as it was on the second row. But it was a short walk to the beach and we found that to be pleasant. Thank you again for a great stay!!!!

Friends Vacation

The house had everything you need for a perfect vacation. The location was excellent. The pool and hot tub were favorites. There is no need to bring a lot of extras with you!! They have it all.

Good but could be better

Location was great! The house was nice! Short walk to the beach and Ft. Fisher museum. The house had too much "technology". Ceiling fans and light with remotes. Some didn't work. TVs had too many choices for streaming. Some were Roku and some Apple TV, couldn't get some to stream channels correctly. Took a while to find what switches turned different lights on and off, never found the switch for ine set of lights in the living room. One closet light came on at random times. Pool lights didn't work, so no night swimming unless you turned on the suoer bright floodlights. Grill didn't half work. The smaller grill was falling apart. Junk and "trash" lying around the pool area. Old deflated floatie things just thrown over in the corner. Old blue tarp covering something. Bucket full of water attracting mosquitoes. Old box spring lying against the fence. Fence lock on the outside of the fence, had to reach around to open it. Expected more for as much as we paid. We loved the house and the location but all the inconveniences were a little much.

June 2022 stay

We all arrived and had plenty of room for everyone. Having the towels and sheets provided is a plus beyond means. Access to beach was easy and very accommodating. The pool area was a welcome afternoon treat for us who did not want to go back to the beach.

Diamond in the rough

We loved the short walk to the beach access! Our children loved the pool!! It was a perfect home away from home with all the luxurys you need! You can tell that the owners are enjoying renovating the property. Can't wait to possibly rent again and see how they make this property shine even more.
