We had a lovely stay here. The property manager communicates quickly through text and everything was clear as far as checking in and out. The townhouse had everything we needed and more. It was perfect for our family. The beach access is just a short walk away and there’s also a pool! We loved it here.

Beautiful Place

We had a great visit, close to the beach and the house was equipped with everything we needed loved our stay my only suggestion would be to have one central dump or garbage area instead of cans left outside of the house to keep roaches (water bugs) to a minimum this may help!

Spacious townhome close to the beach

We enjoyed our time staying here. Two families (8 people) had plenty of space! Really liked that everyone had a place to sit while eating and in the living area. Convenient walk to the beach (5-10 minutes). Partially shaded pool was great to have as an option after a beach day. Convenient to the aquarium and restaurants. Would stay again. 😀

This is the second time we’ve stayed in a rental on Red Lewis Drive and had just as much fun this time as last! There were so many things that the place was stocked with, it was clean and the rental company was available and had great communication. Thank you so much for another great vacation experience!

Wonderful Stay

Beautiful town home with plenty of space and just a quick walk to the beach! The location was perfect and we didn’t have to drive far to enjoy some delicious food and the Carolina Beach Boardwalk. The house itself is wonderful with indoor and outdoor living spaces, beautiful spacious rooms and bathrooms. The pool was just a 2 minute walk and it was the perfect size. Great place to stay

Wonderful trip to Pleasure Island

Loved being at Kure Beach. The property was wonderful for our family. Plenty of room to spread out. Three bathrooms was perfect and we always had all the hot water we needed for all the showers after a day on the beach. The living space had plenty of comfy seating. Kitchen was wonderfully equipped with everything we needed to make family meals. And the property was well maintained and so clean!!!! Enjoyed the boardwalk and Brits Donuts! Always enjoy visiting the Kure Beach Pier! Day trips to Wilmington and Southport added for fun excursions.

Amazing stay

We loved our time at Barefoot Cove! The location was great (a close walk to the beach and a short drive to Fort Fisher). The house was beautiful, very clean, and had incredible amenities, especially in the kitchen! This chef loved it. The hosts were friendly, helpful, and left very detailed instructions for our stay. We already have planned to come back to Barefoot Cove next summer!

Beautiful Condo

A lot of great things to say about this property. Very clean. Super easy check in & out. Lots of utensils in the kitchen. My grandchildren loved the bunk room. They are 3 & 5 years old. Really nice pool. Definitely would stay here again if coming to the area.

Beautiful Home and Fantastic Stay!

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay at Barefoot Cove! Communication was exceptional by the company. I loved the text system they utilized. They provided thorough check in and check out instructions which were very helpful to ensure we did our due diligence on our end! There were so many great amenities in this home - towels, dishes and cookware galore, KitchenAid appliances, soaps, and even laundry soap. The home felt warm and inviting, and was perfectly close to the beach and pool. We absolutely loved our short stay and all wished we could have stayed for much longer. Thank you itrip for a wonderful vacation!!!

A great place in a great area!

We vacationed in Wilmington two years ago and loved our visit to Fort Fisher state park so this year we decided to return and be closer. This house has exceeded all our expectations and I’m beyond grateful to the person(s) who stocked this place so well. We’ve mostly cooked here. The kitchen is spacious and they have all the essential cooking tools and some extra amenities like spices (my south asian mother-in-law was impressed). We brought our own wagon and tent, but they had them here for use. Our toddler really enjoyed the beach toys. After a hot day at the beach, we were able to cool off at the pool which was very close to the house and perfect for young babies. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony to enjoy the breeze, enjoy a glimpse of the ocean, etc. The staff were responsive and took care of our needs right away when something came up. I could go on about all the wonderful things about this house and the location, but overall, it was a wonderful place and we hope to return!

Great location, updated home

This home fit our family very well. The elevator was helpful for the older people in our crowd. Comfortable beds and living area. Well stocked kitchen. Bunk room doesn't have windows so didn't need blackout shades, had to move the side table to make room for a pack n play. House had beach towels, chairs, umbrella, toys and a wagon (and small cooler). Made our trip much easier! Rented a gold cart to haul our stuff and small babies to the beach. The beach access is very close for walking, but not an option for our crowd. Pool access was great (need a key to get in!) Has a grill. Not many cons to this place, if any! Communication with property managers was really annoying. Everytime we asked a question, they said to reference the email even though they would text us. They also didn't know this property well and what it would have. Would definitely recommend this place!

KURE BEACH

First, let me say that the Itrip people we dealt with and talked with during our stay were very friendly, accommodating and responsive. We stayed at Barefoot Cove on Kure Beach. The property was very clean and well taken care of. The area pool was smaller than we had thought it would be. We did have a few issues come up during our stay and Itrip did take care of them. The property itself was as advertised and provided us with the family get away we were looking for. my advise is to look into and rent a golf cart for your travels while there.

Great townhouse and location

House was great. Clean, modern amenities. Great kitchen with everything you need. Beds are very comfortable. Plenty of room for our two families beach trip. Beach access is an easy walk just one block away. House is on a quiet street and pool was great to cool off in after a day on the beach.

Great property and brand new feel. 3 levels with elevator and across the street from the beach. Community pool that is stunning with private bathroom. Love it all!

Above and beyond!

This was an excellent place to stay with everything we needed and more! iTrip really went above and beyond to make our stay really pleasant. Everything was clean and new and nice and comfortable. The best part was how well stocked everything was; they provided more than just the minimum toilet paper, laundry pods, dishwashing soap, etc. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook, even had sugar, flour, and spices. The bathrooms ALL had hand soap. All fixtures, appliances, etc worked well. The elevator was so nice to have, and the pool was great! There were beach chairs, a beach wagon, some sand toys and a small cooler— it made the walk to the beach access with kids very helpful! Thanks again for a great, relaxing stay!

Beautiful townhouse

We absolutely loved this townhouse! We stayed here for a week in early June. The place itself is beautiful - decorated and furnished amazingly. We have two little ones and had friends that joined us half way through the week with another two (all aged between 1-3 years old). The bunk bed room is great for little kids, as it has no windows and don’t need to worry about black out blinds. All the beds were comfortable and the place came with a bunch of little extras that really showed they go above and beyond with their rentals (hand soap, dish soap, plastic baggies, olive oil, large beach towels, wagon, beach chairs, and I could keep going..) they make it comfortable so you don’t have to bring (or buy) the whole world with you when you travel! (Id suggest asking what’s there before you pack your car, as we brought way more stuff than needed since they have the place well stocked!) The pool is great, one side is 5 inches deep and it goes to 4’ deep, so perfect for little kids! We were the only ones at the pool most of the week, not sure if that’s typical but it was nice not to have a ton of people there. The walk to the beach is a little far with little ones that need to be carried, but we had people offer to let us use their beach access that were right across the street. I think for most though, it wouldn’t be an issue. Would definitely recommend the place!

We loved the townhouse, it has great amenities, and it is a very short walk to the beach. There is a lot of things to do and great restaurants near by. It is very clean and in incredible shape. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone I could!

Barefoot Cove!! Wonderful experience!

Wow! The Barefoot Cove is absolutely beautiful! It is in a great location and just minutes from The Pier, Aquarium at Fort Fisher, Battery Buchanan, and my personal favorite…Britts Donuts located on the updated Boardwalk at Carolina Beach. Everything in the rental was so fresh and new. The kitchen is gorgeous and FULLY stocked with everything you could possibly need (I bake and cook a lot so I really appreciated not needing to bring anything). I really enjoyed my morning coffee on the balcony listening to and looking at the ocean. My young boys loved walking to the beach and playing in the neighborhood pool! The pool has a great shallow area for my babies/toddlers to move around and play in and they loved the small fountains. Great memories were made! Thank you for having us and sharing your beautiful home!!

Surprising Views!

I was pleasantly surprised that you could view the ocean while drinking coffee on the front deck and also enjoy a beautiful view of it while making coffee on the the other side of the home in the kitchen! This home is beautifully decorated and fully equipped. The elevator is very smooth and we felt very safe and secure in it. The beach is just a short walk and you are right next to historic Fort Fisher! I highly recommend this home!

Outstanding weekend at Barefoot Cove!

We had such a great weekend staying at this house! It’s tucked away in a cute little neighborhood right across from the beach. The beach is a very short walk from the house. They also have everything you could need for the beach- towels, chairs, a beach wagon! The house looks brand new and fully equipped! The kitchen has everything you could possibly need, plus a grill for grilling! There is also a pool you have access too that is perfect for taking a break from the beach. This is the best place I’ve ever stayed! As a bonus, there is even a nice ocean view out the kitchen window. You can’t go wrong staying here!
