El Oar House es un lugar increíble, no importa la época del año. Es muy bueno en el verano para los juegos de agua y relajante. La vista es espectacular, y se puede nadar desde la cubierta. Es hermoso en el otoño, cuando las hojas de otoño se refleja en el lago. No muy lejos de un partido de fútbol de Clemson y luego de vuelta al lago para disfrutar del tiempo de otoño. En el invierno es sólo paz y tranquilidad, y es un buen momento para practicar senderismo y ciclismo. Esta casa recientemente renovado se encuentra justo en el lago. ¡Tienes que verlo para creerlo! Hay una sala de estar y comedor con una cocina totalmente equipada todos abiertos el uno al otro.

Esta casa tiene tres niveles. Se puede alquilar con dos master suites y 2. 5 baños o con cuatro dormitorios y 3. 5 baños. La suite planta principal tiene una cama de matrimonio y la suite de nivel superior tiene una cama queen, un sofá-cama en el dormitorio y una sala de estar con un sofá que puede dormir una. (No es un sofá cama). Ambas suites cuentan con baño privado. Las dos habitaciones tienen vistas absolutamente impresionantes del lago. La planta baja tiene 2 dormitorios y un baño completo. Un dormitorio tiene una cama de matrimonio y el otro dormitorio tiene una cama doble y literas. Ambas habitaciones cuentan con lavabos de tocador.

Hay tres cubiertas maravillosos para relajarse y comer en si lo desea. También hay una barra de comer en la sala de estar con seis taburetes de la barra y el comedor asientos mesa para 8 personas cómodamente.

This place is great for our family . We bring 5 cars and 3 kayaks, so large parking area is great for us. Water area is great for all 8 adults it enjoys with floaties , perfect!

Charming lake house and great for large families

Oar house is a lovely spot, with everything you need for a family vacation. We enjoyed our stay. You can't beat the lake view.

Mom's birthday

Stay to be close to family for my Mom's birthday celebration in Saluda! The kids loved the lake! We had a great time visiting all of the cute small towns in the area, hiking, and rafting!

Perfect lake getaway

We had a multigenerational group that enjoyed the house and location. It’s our second stay and each time gets better-Coffee on the porch, Swimming off the dock, games around the big table and easy access to Landrum and Tryon. We already look forward to next year.

Great house and beautiful location

This is our second time staying here, and we rented it again for obvious reasons: house is clean and is in a beautiful location and the owners are responsive and helpful. It really makes the trip worry free and tons of fun. Highly recommend.

This property feels like home

This place is fabulous! Right on the water with great views. All inclusive with sheets and towels. We had a lovely Thanksgiving feast with family. Kitchen was well stocked with serving pieces. We hope to book again soon maybe in spring.

Very peaceful

Our group was in town for a nearby wedding. We really enjoyed sitting on the big porch and sitting on the dock. House was perfect for what we needed and expected. Would like to go back when we did not have to leave for a wedding. Very peaceful spot

Great Gathering Place

The house was very clean, well stocked. It offered many opportunities to either lounge on the deck and enjoy the beautiful scenery or play games. If desired, there was hiking, water activities available. The homey atmosphere added to the ambiance and would certainly consider renting again.

Very nice location, on the water and close to towns. Only issue very hard to access water with your own kayaks!!

Loved it!

Beautiful house on a beautiful lake. Extremely peaceful.. Would highly recommend! For those with littles, just be aware that the house goes directly out to a dock and the water is deep.. definitely no zero entry point. Made for terrific swimming and play for our older kids! Can’t wait to visit again!

Peaceful, Comfortable House - Great Layout

This was a perfect place for our multi-generation family gathering, although maybe not a perfect fit for all such families - going up and down steps is a requirement for anyone staying here. The location is located between Fletcher NC and Greeneville SC, and is near several popular wedding venues, besides lots of other attractions, natural and man-made! The house was clean, the kitchen was well equipped, and the layout allowed everyone to have some separate sleeping and bathroom space. Parking and check-in were easy, and communication with the owners was great.

Gorgeous home on Lake!

Family with teen kids. Rained most of the time we were there but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with some board games.. We used the pedal boat and canoe a couple of times. Enjoyed a visit from a large moon-moth, the rare majestic bald eagle and 2 families of geese in the water. Tried fishing but no bites…caught and released one sunfish. Sitting outside on the deck was heavenly….u can hear yourself think!! Owner was very responsive to our inquires and genuinely ensures a good customer experience. Hoping to be back soon.

Girls’ Golf Group

Firstly and most important, our hosts were very quick to respond when I had questions about the area and about the house. We were a group of 7 senior ladies playing in a two-day golf tournament about 15 minutes down the road. We found the “Oar House” to be very clean and well appointed with everything we needed. It was perfect for us with each having our own bed and the 3 1/2 bathrooms were great so we could all get going at the same time in the morning to be at the course for our tee times. The large parking area nicely accommodated our 5 vehicles since we were not all from the same place. Being on the lake was very relaxing after a hard day at tournament golf. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to use the boats as our schedule was rather tight with the golf tournament and associated activities. We dined at Hare and Hound in Landrum the first night - it was great! Then we got pizza from Side Street the next night That was wonderful! Our hosts recommended both places and they were correct! I would like to go stay there again when I didn’t have anything else to do - just a vacation with no assignments. Being able to explore the Landrum and Tryon areas would be at the top of the list of “to do’s”. And then, of course, perhaps check out the other golf venues in the area. This would be a good base to explore up into NC and around the top of SC. So glad we chose the “Oar House”.
