“Extended Memorial Day Weekend with teen son and two chihuahuas. We visited primarily to see historic and family sites in the Schellsburg/New Paris/Bedford areas. Also visited Somerset and Laurel Hill State Park as well as Shawnee State Park. Nice location on the golf course; plenty of space; well-stocked kitchen and a Dollar store down the road with groceries. Wasn't clear on what community amenities we were allowed to use and what the community rules were besides quiet hours--rental guidance...

“This was a memorable and outstanding minivacation in every way possible. Our homeowner was thoughtful and generous in planning, huge bowl of fresh hand fruit waiting for us, and later in the weekend gave us a bottle of wine! The kitchen was modern, comprehensive and convenient. It was also very well stocked with condiments etc, so you don't have to worry about bringing a bunch of things for a short stay. The 4 of us were comfortable with a master bedroom and loft bedroom for our college...

“Beautiful home and furnishings.. Rooms are all very spacious with modern decor. Very close to everything but very private. Great gameroom and firepit. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. The host provides toiletries, towels and bedding. We will definitely revisit this beautiful home.”

“Our group included our family of five along with some friends of ours who joined us with their two children. Our ski weekend getaway went quick and we enjoyed every minute of it. Nestled back on the edge of the forest we thoroughly enjoyed the beauty of its location. The walk through the woods and back to the pond was a bonus. We had plenty of room for our group of 9 and especially loved the common area with it's fabulous fireplace. We most certainly would love to visit again. Jim and Mandi...

“We were a group of 16 with one wheel chair person and people from all around the USA. Matt was great to communicate with. :-). He was responsive and fast. Place was as advertised. It's a great 80's retro place. There is some deferred maintenance but it did not interfere with our stay. The place had multiple fridges, an outdoor commercial grade sink, multiple BBQs, multiple TVs and lots of seating. The place has a commercial grade dual burner coffee maker. (what a great idea). “The location is great! Nicely secluded in the woods. Close to the Flight 93 Memorial. It would have been nice to stay longer, as the weather was rainy, so we didn't do a lot outside. Besides the basement area smelling a bit musty, it was a great stay. The teens loved the pool table!”

“This was a ski getaway that was fantastic. the house is very close to 7 springs and hidden valley. Since snow conditions were not the best we took a day to explore ohiopyle and falling water. The property is well organized, well stocked, and communication is fantastic. We appreciated the welcome bag and the game closet! Thank you for your hospitality. We will be back.”

“We had a great stay. The Chalet was clean and well appointed, very comfortable beds and furnishings. Enjoyed a cookout and the wonderful backyard and river views. The Chalet. Was a perfect quiet spot away from the busy weekend crowd in Ohiopyle but still close enough to enjoy Whitewater rafting, Fallingwater, Ohiopyle Wine fest plus all the Hikes, Waterfalls and lookouts of the State Park. The nearby Train did not bother us during our stay. Hope to come back again soon!”

“Very great communication with hosts prior to stay, cute and quaint little cabin chalet just as described. Fully supplied kitchen made for meal prep pretty easy. Bring groceries bc the area has limited options nearby. We knew this ahead of time and probably saved us time and money. ”
