We grilled steaks and ate dinner on the large rear deck with a breathtaking view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Our host was great to work with. We will be returning in the fall.”

“We were in town for a family wedding and found the perfect house on the lake. This property truly had everything we needed and more! The kayaks were a hit with the adults and kids and there’s a great swimming spot right in front of the house! Everything was clean and ready for guests. “This property is located in a central location allowing my family and I to go out for the day and not have to travel too far. From Boone, Grand Father Mountain, Sugar Mountain, Blowing Rock, it's all very close by. We had a couple of issues with the property but the staff was responsive and communicative.”

“I was a little nervous about this one due to some recent negative reviews, but we have stayed all over Boone and it's hard to find a perfect house up there. This one is very comfortable, and they must have worked on cleaning because it was mostly fine. Not perfect, but acceptable. Plenty of towels. Main bed is super comfy and the room is quiet and dark. Upstairs ceiling is low so duck but it's worth the tradeoff of having 3 bedrooms with 4 beds (hard to find in the area). TV works great with...
