“Second time returning to John’s house and we loved it even more than the first time! You can’t beat the location. Quiet canal spot and 5 min walk to the beach. WellStocked kitchen, brand new comfy couches, and love the house lay out. The lift is super helpful for getting supplies up to the house. Kayaking on the canal was relaxing and fun. As always John is super easy to communicate with and let me know of a concert happening while we were down there. See you again next year!”

“We were in town for a concert at UVA. The hosts were super welcoming, even going above and beyond to make sure the grill on property was fixed before we got there. The house was cute and clean with everything that you could need. The outdoor amenities were awesome; we caught fish in the pond, grilled burgers, and enjoyed a campfire during our stay! If we are back in the area we will definitely stay here again!”

“We had a wonderful stay at this property. The location was perfect with easy access to the mountains, and the area itself was quiet and peaceful. The place was very clean, and the bed was super comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and feel at home. “Beautiful property, big yard, really nice space. Quick drive to the Thornton Gap park entrance. This was a great place to rest and relax after exploring the park all day. Nice kitchen, with everything you need. We had no cell reception and there is no WiFi (fine with us), so we relied on board games & cable TV for entertainment, which was plenty. ”
